About David McFadden

I like and I believe in people. I find people to be incredible and fascinating in their ability to cope with, deal with, live through, learn from and change as a result of the experiences life throws at them. I always, always believe there is a way to move forward. There are times when the way is hard to find; there are times when our brains just shut down to the possibility that there is a way through the mess and uncertainty in front of us.

But I Know There Is A Way!

There is always a way! My job is to help you believe that this is truth and then to find the way that works best for you.

(Even if that means you have to borrow my faith in you for a little while…)

I bring a combination of education, (a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and one in Pastoral Counseling as well as a Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling), a wealth of experience (in life as well as my work as a therapist) and a personality that is built for working with people. I help people because that is my life’s calling - what I give to the world and what I feel I have always been called to do and become.

I have a great marriage and we have worked hard over the years to take care of each other. We both play a big part in each other’s lives.

I have always been one to take on personal challenges. I have ridden my bicycle to the top of the highest paved road in the world 4 times - 60 miles of pedaling uphill - I don’t know why once was not enough! I am not afraid to tackle something difficult. I am willing to jump in with you and help you figure out how to take on the challenge, trial, difficulty, tragedy, major decision or struggle that you are facing. If it can happen in life, I have either experienced it, gone through it with a family member, or worked with someone who has. I will stick with you until we get it figured out and resolved and you are achieving your goals.

If you need assistance with any of the following, I am here to help:

  • The victim of an affair
  • Determining a future course for your life
  • Getting disentangled from an affair
  • Restoring your broken marriage
  • Navigating major life transitions
  • Overcoming the hurdles that hold you back from accomplishing your goals
  • Learning how to take care of your spouse
  • Improving your relationships
  • Breaking out of the boredom of your life and your marriage
  • Surviving, managing and transcending grief

If you are ready to explore the next steps and see what’s possible for you, let’s talk. You can reach me at 630-333-3202 for a free 15-20 minute consultation so we can explore your needs and see if we’re a good fit together.
