getty Dating can be challenging. You worry you’ll never find someone to date, or wonder if you’re missing out on someone that isn’t an obvious match.
So, to give yourself a better chance at finding love, you decide to lessen your standards. Because dating anybody is better than not dating at all.
Dating someone who’s a little rough around the edges might not be bad. Isn’t it a good thing to get out of the house and meet people? But instead of meeting someone with any of the qualities you’re looking for, you date people who are wrong for you in every way!
For some zodiac signs, their low standards in dating lead to toxic relationships or just plain bad dates.
Your frustration begins brewing. Is it you, or are you just not willing to compromise on your values? Thinking it helps, you lower the bar even further, but this makes the situation far worse.
If the alternative to dating with no standards is to not date at all, it may be time to take a break from dating altogether. Spend time getting to know yourself, and think about what you really want in a partner.
1. Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius can find something to like about almost anyone, which is a good quality to have. They're out to have a good time and date lots of different kinds of people. They're very large-hearted, but can have issues with commitment.
Once something starts getting serious, Sagittarius' interest can decrease. If they want to avoid heartbreak, it's better for them to date people with whom they won't get too attached.
2. Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
Love is especially important to Pisces. They're very fair when it comes to dating and relationships, and they sometimes give people a chance because they feel sorry for them and don't want to hurt them.
The problem is that because Pisces tend to be unselfish, they often settle for less than what they deserve. They don't ask for much but because their standards are so low, Pisces ends up dating people who aren't worthy of them or their love.
3. Aries (March 21 - April 19)
Aries has a lot going on in their life and they don't have the time or energy to be that discriminating when it comes to dating. They love going out, having fun, and they can get lonely just like everybody else.
They are impulsive and may just ask someone out in the grocery store on a whim because that person smiled at them. They're also impatient and don't want to have to spend time searching for the perfect date.
4. Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarians are famous for their talent for having a wide range of people as their friends. They're very independent and can sometimes be detached or aloof.
Big emotional displays can make them feel uncomfortable, so when they're dating, they may not look for any kind of emotional connection. They'd rather have a large dating pool with no drama than one special person who demanded more of an emotional connection from them.
5. Libra (September 23 - October 22)
Libras can be superficial, and they can get so caught up with how somebody looks that they may not even pay attention to compatibility. Libras spend too much energy focusing on the wrong things instead of taking the time to see if someone shares some of the same interests and values as they do.
It's not unlikely for Libra to date someone they don't even get along with just because they're pretty to look at.
6. Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
For a sign that has very high standards for themselves, they're very flexible when it comes to the people they date. There are times when Capricorn doesn't want to be predictable or play it safe, so they date someone completely inappropriate and surprising.
Capricorns tend to have traditional values, but that doesn't mean that sometimes they just want to date someone for fun, where it isn't likely to lead to anything long-term.
