getty I'm one of those people who shows up on time or earlier than expected. I'm never late because the idea of being late gives me anxiety; I don't want to waste people's time waiting around for me to show up.
I respect the time and lives of others, whether they are total strangers or those familiar to me. I simply hold on to my integrity, as it means a lot to me to be a person one can trust.
But there are folks who operate in an entirely different way when it comes to time management skills. When people are late and finally arrive, I expect an apology at the very least, yet many don't know that an apology is due. Time management is akin to both self-respect and the respect of others.
There are just so many hours in a day, and we desperately need to manage how we move through our days. Life is short, and if we are to get anything out of this life, we need to manage the little time we have here. While some zodiac signs in astrology are good at this, others are pre-disposed for poor time management.
1. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
If you're a Taurus, you already know yourself. When was the last time you got to work on time, eh? Would that be a "never"? Yes, it would be.
It's not that you hate working, it's that you really love getting ready for work. Grooming is number one with you and you don't walk out of the house unless you're looking fly, which means whoever is waiting for you on the other end, well... they're just going to have to wait. And wait.
2. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
You are strict and disciplined, yet you can't get your life together when it comes down to managing your own time. You will set your alarm for 5 AM, having set your intention the night before for waking up promptly, and then you'll hit the snooze 15 times, making you late for your first scheduled appointment.
You want to be as disciplined as you feel, but you always like sleeping a lot more.
3. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
You are, at times, your own worst enemy. You are someone who loves attention, and you demand it. Where that tends to fall apart is that you also love procrastinating and making people wait.
You are well intended and you really do want to create something good with your time, but you are so side-tracked and distracted that you end up wasting your time and the time of others.
4. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
You feel burdened by a rigorous and hectic schedule; you know you should have planned better, yet things got crazy, and before you know it, the window of opportunity in no longer open for you. You blow opportunities left and right due to your inability to get your timing straight.
You're the one who shows up to the party three hours too early, simply because you didn't read the invitation. Your downfall is in the details. Time management escapes you, utterly.
5. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
You simply don't participate in time management because you have absolutely no respect for timing, for schedules, or for order. You make people wait for you to decide, and that is your way of controlling the situation.
When asked if you will be attending, you give no answer. You are so disrespectful of the timing of others that once people catch wind of this trait of yours, the invitations stop altogether. No one wants you around after a while, because you're always late, always rude, and always controlling what others do with their time, as you waste it for them.
6. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Because you cannot commit one way or another, you end up wasting people's time and money. You're the one who doesn't show up after someone's spent money on your ticket. You're the one who doesn't fulfill your end of the bargain. You're the one who was supposed to do "something" but didn't because you didn't care enough.
You waste everybody's time and you rarely apologize to anyone for your incredibly poor time management skills.
