Having insight into ourselves and other people means being able to see things that others miss, and have the ability to garner meaning from those things when it’s not always obvious. Add astrology, and the insightful zodiac signs tend to be intelligent, intuitive, wise, incisive, and even profound.

They’re the people we turn to in times of confusion or when we really need perspective. They can be our religious leaders, our therapists, or even our mentors. They don’t take things at face value, are not easily fooled and tend to be extremely wise.

We all need someone insightful in our lives to help guide us. Their perspective can be invaluable to us because it can help us see solutions to our problems we might normally miss.

But insight can be a burden for some. If you see things that others refuse to see, it can start conflict or confusion. Some insightful people are reticent to share their thoughts because they’re afraid of the reaction. People are not always ready for the truth.

1. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)

Most Pisces aren't aware of how insightful they are, and it surprises them as much as anybody else when they say something incredibly perceptive. They may be insightful because they're incredibly intuitive and have a deep understanding of humans and other creatures.

They're also creative so they don't just see things as they are, but have the ability to see beyond the surface to what lies deeper.

2. LEO (July 23 - August 22)

It could be because Leos are kind, helpful, and wise that makes them so insightful. They don't do anything special or even especially unique, they just seem to know who people are at their core.

Leos see clearly and don't get lost in the smoke-screens we tend to put up. They can be profound, especially with the things said by anyone else. Where someone would think of it as a throw-away line, it can be life-changing for Leo.

Geminis have a way of getting through the superficial and seeing what's really going on with someone. It's as if they have a special sight. People trust Gemini and often go to them for being able to see what we can't.

Not only are Geminis insightful, but they know how to get their insights across in a way people can understand them. They are one of the more open-minded of the zodiac signs, which could be why they're a conduit to perception.

4. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)

Libras are good at seeing things from all different perspectives. They have a firm sense of justice and what's right. Libras don't just accept something as true because everybody else is saying it's true. They prefer to find out for themselves the validity of an idea and then decide if it's something that would benefit others to know.

Being insightful isn't something that Libras work out, it's just something that's part of them.

Aquarians are gifted in the way they don't let their bias influence them, which gives them a deeper understanding of people. They are incisive in a way that can be a turn-off to some people, but if you can get past the way Aquarius is presenting an idea or opinion, you can appreciate what they're saying.

Sometimes people brush off what an Aquarius says as being too out there, but eventually, things catch up to them and we see that they were right all along.
