A good makeup artist, whether professional or just for fun, knows all the tricks and techniques. They have a knowledge of contouring, blending, color palettes, and layering, and know how to achieve a specific look.
What does it take to be good at makeup? For some zodiac signs, their personalities determined by astrology may be the answer. You have to have some creative ability, and know how to apply cover-up and powder. You also need patience because putting on makeup isn’t a quick process.
Some people don’t feel confident unless they’re wearing makeup because it can hide a variety of flaws. If you work with the public, you may want to put your best face forward, and for some, that requires makeup.
1. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus are going to do whatever they need to look amazing, so it makes sense that they'd be fantastic at makeup. They have some natural abilities, plus they're going to watch any tutorials they can get their hands on.
They're persistent, so if they don't master a technique right away, they'll keep practicing until they've got it down cold. Taurus tend to go for classic looks but will spice things up with a small touch here and there.
2. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos are a consistent presence in the spotlight, so they have to look good. Makeup helps give them confidence and adds to their overall appeal. The truth is, Leo has been using makeup long before it became a regular part of the morning routine, and they have fine-tuned their skills.
They are energetic and love sparkly things, and makeup plays right into that. Leos are dazzling and need their entire look to show that.
3. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers tend to be the kind of person who needs to "have their face on" before they begin their day. Makeup gives Cancer a feeling of security, and it helps them use some of their creative ability.
They'll use new color combinations and will try trends before they're even trends. Somehow, THEY can sense what's going to be hot. Cancer may look deceptively natural, but behind their look is attention to detail and perfected artistry.
4. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius are creative and innovative, so they're going to be the first ones to try a new makeup trend or technique. If Aquarius starts to get tired of their look, they'll try a new approach.
They are always the first to try the newest innovations — tattooed eyebrows, eyelash extensions, or permanent blush.
5. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces are extremely artistic, and even if they don't specialize in painting, photography, or sculpting, they will do everyday things like putting on makeup in a creative way. They have a great sense of color and have an innate talent for composition.
The face is a canvas for Pisces, and they treat it as such. If Pisces is getting ready for a big event, you can bet they'll do their makeup in a spectacular way.
