You might remember her from season 23 of The Bachelor. You also might not. You also might say you do when really you don’t. It’s okay, neither do I. This article is here to fill you in on all things Lopez-Alvar. She’s one of the original cast members on season six of one of the Bachelor's spin-off shows, Bachelor in Paradise. She didn’t appear much in the premiere episode, but hawk-eyed viewers might have noticed her kissing Clay Harbor in the trailer.

Who is Nicole Lopez-Alvar?

1. She’s Cuban.

Her family hails from Havana, Cuba, but Nicole herself was raised in Miami. She’s fun and energetic and loves salsa dancing and singing a capella (she was on a team back in school!) She lives with her brother, mother, and grandma.

2. She was on season 23 of The Bachelor with Colton Underwood.

She was eliminated during week five, reportedly after Underwood “formed stronger connections with some of the other women.” I like to think it was the fight she got into with Onyeka Ehie that got her booted off. How exciting that Ehie is actually on this season of BIP, too! Will they make amends? Will they rehash old drama? I can’t wait to find out.

3. She’s a huge foodie.

When she met Colton, she posted a photo on Instagram with a caption about how apparently food isn’t the only thing that can make her smile. (Awww). Literally, though, her social media is full of photos of food. She loves to cook — especially her grandmother’s recipes.

4. She’s a graduate of the University of Miami.

This educated woman holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism, which she completed in 2015. She’s already held a number of jobs, mostly in the digital news world. After finishing school she worked for a local news station, WSVN Channel 7, as a digital journalist until 2017. She’s also contributed to the Miami New Times. When she was on The Bachelor, she was working as a Social Media Coordinator for the SWARM Event Agency.

5. She's a twin!

A brother, though, so there don’t seem to be any fun role-swapping stories. In her intro on The Bachelor, she actually opened up about her twin being on the autism spectrum. Nicole is a huge family person. In college, she helped produce a documentary called Catch-22: Autism in Adulthood, and she’s also volunteered for Autism Speaks, an autism advocacy organization. She was also an active member of “Best Buddies International” between 2007 and 2011, which is a non-profit organization that aims to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to have a friend or mentor.

6. Spoiler Alert: she finds romance with Clay Harbor.

Ah, Clay Harbor, the ex-NFL player from Becca Kufrin’s season 14, how could I forget? According to Fame10, the two are one of only four couples who go on an overnight date when the offer comes. They don’t end up engaged, though, despite their “very real romance.” Reportedly, Nicole breaks up with him because he won’t tell her he’s in love with her and won’t propose.
