Clearly, lying doesn’t make you look like a great person. But think about how your partner handles your lies.
For one, finding out that your S.O. has been lying to you is devastating. It can make you feel like it’s your fault that he wasn’t honest with you.
You might find yourself having all kinds of negative thoughts, including ones where you blame yourself for your partner’s lies.
Lying can also make you feel unworthy of love, which is simply not true.
