getty I have a memory, and not a good one. It is of a man I was once involved with. One day he was sweet and kind, and then, in one split second, he turned. He went from nice person to uncontrollable, raging monster.
I'm sure now that he must have suffered some mental illness, but wow, was that ever a shock. To trust in the moment, to know that the person you're with is trustworthy and safe, and then to witness that very same person go stark raving bonkers, right in front of your face, with daggers in their eyes...
Turns out, he was a Libra, which, according to astrology, is the most unstable and unbalanced of the zodiac signs. Well, that made sense; he went from kind to murderous in point two seconds, but still, that murderous part? It made me flee in terror. I never returned for more. I got the lesson the first time.
