getty Shopping was always a big deal for certain people. And what I mean by that is I'm sure retail therapy was just as hot a topic back in ye olde ancient Greek Marketplace as it is now. Nothing like heading over to the Bazaar for spices, the Agora for fabrics and... Victoria's Secret for lingerie.
Face it: we love to shop and we get a real thrill from doing it. Well, some of us, at least. For the shopaholic zodiac signs, retail therapy is no joke. And while some might call that being a "spendaholic," we, who know what is best in life, say, "We shall buy ourselves a treat and, thus, we shall feel better!"
Some speak from the position of "pro-shopper," and in astrology, there are those materialistic zodiac signs who make shopping their way of life. However, there are others who can't stand the idea of shopping, spending money or even treating themselves to something — anything nice, at all.
Well, good for them. We know they exist, but what we really want to know is... who's coming out shopping with me now? Who is more prone to go shopping and love it the most?
1. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
There is nothing that stands in your way when you want to purchase something, and that something could be very special or very mundane. Either way, you will get what you want.
Retail therapy is your religion, and you like to do it alone. Nothing thrills you like laying down your credit card and walking out of a store with a bag filled with goodies.
2. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
You love to shop for yourself as well as for others. You're a gift-giver by nature, and you really do enjoy the thrill of making someone happy by giving them something they want.
You're actually quite generous with your gift-giving, and the only selfish part about it is that you relish the times you get to have money... so you can spend it all on someone you love.
3. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
If shopping is what's for dinner, then you are the first one at the table. You don't care about good deals or sales, you just want to spend your entire paycheck on whatever feeds your fantasy.
That could be food, clothes, music — it doesn't matter. When you get money, it burns a hole in your pocket until it's out there, wild, free and on the spend wagon!
4. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Nothing feels better to you than the whole spending package, meaning you like to treat yourself often to great meals, great clothes, shopping sprees, and great entertainment.
You can sniff out a bargain and pounce, but if spending top dollar is what's going to get you where you want to be, then full dollar it is. As long as you're spending moolah, you're a happy little clam.
5. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
You love spending your money on as many cool things as your greedy little hands can hold, because those greedy little hands are always on items made exclusively for you. You are a bit of a cheapskate, and everyone knows it, but who cares about other people when you can treat yourself every day to something you want?
Your money is for you alone, and you make sure you keep your spending tight, and within your circle of one.
6. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
If you want it, you buy it. You wait for no approval and you couldn't care less if it's on sale or not. You adore having money, and you have no qualms whatsoever parting with it.
Money has never been your stress. What inspires you is making enough of the stuff to get the things you want because, Taurus, you do love your things.
