Even if this place is somewhere you imagine in your mind – and not a physical place – you still want to give yourself a chance to get away from whatever is stressing you out, even if only for a few moments.

Being able to take get away from it all, when you need to is vital. Sometimes, we retreat to a safe and relaxing place subconsciously, other times we actively seek out something to help make us feel better, whether that’s a person or a place.

Think about the last time you felt like you needed a break from work, life, drama, whatever. Maybe you put on your favorite Spotify playlist and zoned out for a few hours, or maybe you texted your BFF and asked her to meet you at your favorite coffee shop.

Whenever I need a break, I go to my bedroom. For me, especially in college, my bedroom is where all of my favorite things are.

Incense, my overstuffed bookshelves, my beautiful shoe collection – everything that makes me happy is all in this one room. So, when I need to get away from my dramatic family or work is starting to stress me out, I go to my little haven and relax.

Sometimes, I get caught up on a show I’m watching on Netflix, sometimes I do a little embroidery to calm myself down, but even if I do nothing, simply being in my safe place makes me feel better. According to astrology, you have your own safe place that helps you relax when you need some peace and quiet.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a formal trip out of town or a long-vacation. It can be something simple that you do at home to relieve your mind.

When you can’t be near your safe space physically, create one in your mind to imagine in times of stress. That way, you always have a way to relax, even when you’re on the go. Taking care of your mental health is so important, and being able to find those relaxing moments to take care of your body, mind, and soul is vital.

When you need a break, Aries, you should go to the gym. The amount of pressure you put on yourself to be the best and do the best all the time can be VERY stressful, and it's a good idea to release some of the tension you feel in a healthy way.

When you need a break, Taurus, you should go back to your five senses. You're a very tactile, hands-on zodiac sign that finds comfort in the stability of being able to feel, hear, and taste things.
