6 Zodiac Signs Who Are Great At Making Plans

getty The other day, a friend of mine took charge of something in my life. Had she not intervened, I might not have had the inclination to do anything about it. Alas, she had something in mind for me: a plan.
The plan was to get me something I needed, but would never bother to do for myself. And why? Because I suck at coordinating plans and she happened to dig the art of planning so much that she was masterful at it.
Such is the way of life for the zodiac signs who are good at making plans. Because, just out of curiosity, I asked her what sign she was, as she was clearly cut from a mold so different than my own. And it turned out she's a Cancer — a zodiac sign in astrology that is practical yet creative.
She had that "get up and go" factor, whereas I had that '"it down and do nothing" factor. Plans with details were her "thing." She moved along that path with finesse, while I sat there, figuring that maybe something might happen if I sit long enough. That never really works, though, does it?
Maybe it's a right brain/left brain thing, or maybe there are certain zodiac signs that simply take better to the idea of planning. I know that when I see one of those wedding planners in action, I'm vastly impressed with their skills, patience and vision.
1. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorn is the boss. Wherever they work, whatever they do, they have a knack for leadership, and those around them know very well that they can be trusted to guide others.
So, when it comes to plans, it's a natural move on Capricorn's part to excel at such things. They love making plans, seeing them through, and they get a charge out of watching a well-laid plan go smoothly.
2. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus loves to plan because they need to look forward to things in the future. When it comes to planning something for their own benefit, you can believe they go all the way to make every detail workable.
Having some special plan for the future may be illusory, but it makes Taurus very happy to know they have something special to look forward to.
3. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
This sign enjoys planning ahead and executing grand schemes, parties, and theatrical events. The need to plan is directly in relation to their need to control, which isn't a bad thing.
They control their environment by making plans, locking in dates, setting up meetings. You can rely on Scorpio to get the job done, especially if you leave the planning to them.
4. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancer is good at arranging parties, events and gatherings of all sorts. It will more than likely be a Cancer at the center of what's going on when you're at a spiritual meetup, or an all woman event workshop.
This is a very proactive sign and they have a great reputation for being well-planned and well organized. They are happiest when making plans.
5. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo isn't particularly good with making plans until they realize they're still better at it than anyone around them. Once that realization takes place, Virgo becomes an obsessive fiend of results.
They are ultimately living the age-old advice of "If you want something done, do it yourself." They trust no one else to get it right, so, by default, they lay down the plans.
6. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius is all about plans and schemes. They love a good adventure, and the idea of figuring out some master plan on how to get from here to there or from this to that is a joy for them.
It's your Aquarius friends who will do all the hotel bookings and sightseeing arrangements if you go on a trip with one. They enjoy the details, they have patience working with them, and they tend to choose well. A trusted partner in the plans department!
