Pathological. We all know that word. And why? Because we all watch too much TV. And what word is "pathological" always coupled with? Liar, of course! The good ol' pathological liar.
According to Merriam-Webster, pathological refers to "compulsive; obsessive." Synonyms: compulsive, obsessive, inveterate, habitual, persistent, chronic, clinical, hardened, confirmed, unreasonable, irrational, illogical — a pathological liar.
We all know 'em, and we have all been duped by them. And in astrology, there are some zodiac signs in particular who are most likely to be pathological liars. In fact, they are our lovers, our partners, our friends, our coworkers, our classmates, our enemies.
The truth is, we are lied to by those we trust, and those lies can be ruinous. The pathological liar cares not that he hurts, only that he gets away with it. One might even say that all men are pathological liars, as it's always men who lie effortlessly and without any concern for consequences.
Some get away it, some don't. But those who do learn how to manipulate and lie their way through their lives, burning holes in people left and right. And there are six zodiac signs that make this very possible.
1. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Heartless liars, all of them. It doesn't matter to Virgo. Lying is just surviving and that's the end of that story. So, expect falsehoods, fraud and deception with your Virgo friends — it's in their nature. They also have the special ability to lie to your face while looking in your eyes.
2. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Bit of a fraidy-cat, this sign is. Fear prompts Taurus to lie. They fear confrontation, and even when they aren't guilty, they feel compelled to design some kind of garish lie to protect themselves with.
Taurus is the one who goes into a department store and dodges surveillance cameras due to an innate sense of guilt — guilt built on lies and lying.
3. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
The thing with Aquarius is that they have to lie to give themselves something to do. Probably the most bored sign there is, there's very little else to do for excitement in the Aquarius world, so to stir things up, they lie. Like smoked salmon on a bagel with cream cheese.
The really stupid part is that their lies are weak and unbelievable, leaving Aquarius, once again, to know themselves as foolish and bored.
4. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
In this case, there is a number one spot for liars and it's all about Libra. Wow, I don't know how these people live with themselves or how they can even keep tabs on how many lies they dole out consistently.
No wonder they all have anxiety disorders! Watching your back 24/7 has got to be tough. Gaslighting specialists. Boo, Libra!
5. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Baby, they were born to lie. Look, when you're an Aries, you have a lot going on. And you also have a lot of people watching your every move, so to keep that attention, you lie a lot to make yourself look good. They lie for one purpose only: to make themselves seem better than the next person.
6. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Lying is more than compulsive to Scorpio; it's how they do business. Scorpio lies, pretends to be honest, rakes you over the coals, laughs at you for your imbecilic decision to trust them, and then they lie to whomever is curious as to what happened to you.
