Do you make a great first impression? Do you have the skill of being able to present yourself in a positive light? If so, you are winning at the game of life.
There are so many times that making a good first impression is key, especially when you’re trying to get a job or second date. In addition, making a really good first impression helps you to build connections with people that could have lasting results.
There are some zodiac signs who make a good first impression. They have qualities like showing an interest in others, being confident in their own skin, and not coming off as too needy. And with astrology and the stars to guide us, it comes naturally to these individuals.
While first impressions may last a lifetime, they only take seven seconds to form, which doesn't give you much time. Some things that guarantee a good first impression are easy enough like making eye contact, smiling, and demonstrating that you have good manners. You also want to be careful that you’re not speaking too loudly or that your tone is coming off as light and friendly.
It’s the little things that can strengthen that first impression. If you show your true personality, are funny (but not obnoxious), and are good at thinking on your feet, you’ll make a good first impression. There are no do-overs, so if it doesn't come naturally to you, there's no shame in working on improving.
1. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos present themselves well — they dress sharp, they're well-groomed, and they always have a smile on their face. They're memorable without being too quirky or obnoxious. They're very friendly and talkative but they won't make the conversation all about them.
Leos know that they don't need to do something outrageous to stand out from the crowd. They have an innate sense of when to be the life of the party and when to let others shine. There are very few people on earth that a Leo can't charm.
2. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries are so lively and enthusiastic that people warm to them immediately. One of the ways that help them create a fantastic first impression is their body language. Aries knows that when they meet someone, that person is taking everything in, so Aries isn't about to be overly sarcastic, roll their eyes, or sigh dramatically.
This zodiac sign presents the most upbeat and positive version of themselves and they convey it by smiling with their eyes and conveying openness with their body.
3. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarians don't have to fake excitement upon meeting someone new — they genuinely enjoy it. They have good instincts about people and seem to know immediately what to do or say that will ingratiate people to them.
Sagittarius are active listeners because they're very good at finding something interesting in almost any conversation. They have an ease about themselves that makes them likable and easy to be around.
4. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus may be one of the more down-to-earth signs, but they know how to make a great first impression. They have incredible style and are very captivating, which is why everyone wants them on their team or at their party.
Taurus know that being polite doesn't mean boring and that it's more about giving respect to those around you without losing respect for yourself. They present themselves as someone who knows what they're doing (it's usually the case) and that they have everything under control.
5. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis are very adaptive, social, and great at communication. They have the ability to charm almost everyone and people know that Gemini will make things much more enjoyable with their presence. Geminis are open-minded and are able to accept people's differences without judgment.
Their body language backs up what they say so people know that Geminis are being truthful without being unkind. They tend to have a positive attitude and people tend to like them upon meeting them.
6. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios know what to do to make a great first impression — they look great, they say the right things, and they're comfortable enough with their body that things don't get awkward. They prepare ahead of time for whatever situation they're going to be in. They will research a company before an interview, have conversation topics at the ready, and maybe even have some appropriate jokes on hand.
Scorpios are very intuitive, so they tend to follow their gut when it comes to making a good first impression. If they feel they need to be open but not too spontaneous, that's what they'll be. Or, if they get the idea that things are a little more relaxed, they'll loosen up a bit.
