How good are your instincts? Do you go with your gut or are you one of those people who has learned your lessons from the school of hard knocks. If you're one of these four zodiac signs, chances are you've got great instincts, maybe even better than other horoscopes in astrology.

We’re not going to get into a whole biography here but Lenin was a political theorist who lived from 1870-1924. However, the point is nearly a whole century later his words are still applied today to (if I had to guess) about 60% of us when we’re coming of age.

Come on, you know it’s true. Whether it was from your mother, father, grandpa, grandma aunt or uncle etc. we’ve all heard these words uttered to us when we brought someone around our family who they deemed as “bad news.” They had good instincts.

At the time we almost never believe them and just say “oh it’s just because you don’t know them. If you did you would see they’re a good person,” and things of that nature. Whether we want to admit it or not though, a good percentage of the time they usually end up being right about our “friends.”

Why is that? Well, in this cliché context it may be because our elders have been around the block multiple times. But what if I told you that their zodiac sign may play a role in their good judge of character as well?

Yes, that’s one of the many things you can tell from a person’s zodiac sign. However, if we’re being honest not all of us can be good judges of character. That’s why we have to cut people off from time to time. With that being said let’s get a few horoscopes who are known for having good reads on people, according to astrology.

1. GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

You’re the type of person in a friend group that brings many different people together. In doing so you merge different cliques, form lifelong companionships etc. However, even though you’re so sociable, you only let certain people get the title of your “BFF.” This is because you know the fine line between acquaintances and friends in terms of who’s worth your time.

2. CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You’re known for being the protector, whether it comes to your friends, your family or significant other, which is a very good thing. Because you cherish every moment you have with the people closest to you, as an instinct you become a bodyguard to these people when someone new gets a little too close.

Now, this doesn’t last long if you sense that they’re a good person but the point is that the new person usually goes through you because you’re good at reading a person’s character.

3. VIRGO (August 23-September 22)

If you’re a Virgo, you know you are known for a few things: being strong-minded, being observant, speaking their mind, being very tentative to your significant other and lastly being ruled by your intelligence over your impulses.

If you think about it, there’s a more concise way to sum up Virgos taking into account all of these characteristics, calculated. Virgos are very observant, calm and controlled when it comes to your emotions and what you react to.

4. CAPRICORN (December 22-January 19)

If you’re a Capricorn, you’re known as very self-reliant and level-headed. However, to some other zodiac signs, they may look at that as a threat and view you as an elitist because you’re self-assured.

As a Capricorn though you couldn’t care less about what these others think about you. You also are known for being a good judge of character. With that being said you’re very selective about who you “let in” and who’s around you, and only those people’s opinions mean something to you.
