Being properly introduced to sex means being properly introduced into doggy style. For lots of people who enjoy sex, this position is the end all be all of sex positions because it hits the spot. Every. Single. Time.
Straying into doggy style, animal-wild sex is a must-have experience for you to enjoy, and once you do, you won't be able to look back. Doggy style is the position where hair can be pulled, sex toys can be used, and you can feel your guy literally balls deep in you.
And I'm not pulling all of this out of my ass, either.
A study conducted by Ask Men found that doggy style was the most universally enjoyable sex position when they set out to see what the favorite sex position was on a state-by-state basis. And, according to Thrillist, it may have something to do with the way it hits the g-spot.
Doggy style is the Miss America of sex positions. But because it's so frequently used, there can still be a desire to switch things up every now and then.
There's a good chance you may be wondering just how the hell you can possibly switch up this particular sex position, but trust me when I say there are many ways.
Since it's true what they say: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," we won't. We'll just slightly modify the original for all the pleasure and even more fun.
We dug through a couple hundred or two from sites like Sexpositions.com to bring you a top-notch batch of options, including the traditional standby.
And you know what? We found nine other ways to get it from behind that will drive you insane.
These different ways to do the doggy-style sex position offer the same pleasurable sensation but may be even better for you and your partner. What's important is that you find what works for you.
Here are 10 types of doggy style position variations that will leave you begging for more.
1. Traditional Doggy Style Sex Position

The original doggy-style is still a good position, and although I'm sure you're aware of how this one is done. I will still explain to you so that you can see how it differs from some of the other doggy styles.
The bottom is on all fours on the bed and your partner is positioned on both knees while grabbing your hips (or not, if he prefers Superman doggy-style) to thrust into you as deeply or as shallow as you both desire.
To make throwing it back easier, grab onto a pillow or your headboard if there's a railing.
2. Bulldog Doggy Style Sex Position

For the Bulldog, the woman remains in the same position as doggy-style, however, your partner will crouch over (literally) the top of you while hugging your hips with his knees and leveraging his hands on the bed or floor (probably preferable for balance).
3. Leapfrog Doggy Style Sex Position

In the Leapfrog position, your partner will stand behind you and you will stand in front of them, pull your feet in a little closer (about a shoulder-width apart), and bend over, positioning your hands on the ground (knees touching your elbows).
When you bend, let your elbows bend a little as well, as if you're about to leap and allow your partner to take you.
4. Eiffel Tower Doggy Style Sex Position

This one, the Eiffel Tower, is a little more straightforward. Your partner stands behind you with his legs straddling yours, and you bend over, holding yourself up with your elbows.
5. Downward Dog Sex Position
If you're looking for something a little rougher, the Downward Dog may be just what you need.
You and your guy will take the form of the original doggy style, but instead of you leaning in on your arms, you will lay your arms by your sides — or your partner could even cuff them behind you for some added fun.
6. Prison Guard Doggy Style Sex Position

When you're in this position, you'll both stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, and while you bend over, your partner will take your arms, slightly pulling them back as if they were stretching you.

7. Basset Hound Doggy Style Sex Position

Both partners will take the regular doggy style position in the Basset Hound, but instead of keeping them open, bring your knees together while your partner hugs your knees with theirs and grabs your hips.
8. Flatiron Sex Position

Similar to the Downward Dog position, where you will drop to your chest without using your hands, in the Flat Iron, you will put your butt in the air slightly, leaving enough room for you to reach your vagina for a little-added stimulation.
Meanwhile, your partner will be in between your legs with their knees shut together.
9. Cowboy Doggy Style Sex Position

In this fun variation of the doggy style known as the Cowboy , you will be on all fours. But instead of resting on your hands, come down to your elbows and elongate your body.
Your partner may then crouch over you in a frog position, allowing them to penetrate you even more deeply from behind.
10. Submissive Doggy Style Sex Position

For the Submissive position, you will position yourself into a runner's stretch with one knee up in the front and the other leg straight behind you, then bring your head to the ground or bed.
Your partner will straddle the one leg behind you while in this position.
