Life can be hard and sometimes it feels like the world is against you. Time after time, struggle after struggle, things don’t look like they are going to get better. BUT we all know that they will as long as we persevere.
To persevere is to keep going and keep pushing, despite the hard times. It is one of THE hardest things in the world to do — it plays havoc with your self-esteem — but it's such a better alternative than just giving up.
Perseverance is something that is learned. And it can be a tough mental obstacle for those who struggle with remaining positive in hard situations.
Sometimes an internal push of inspiration can be the thing that brings you from a negative headspace into pushing onto the next day with a new sense of confidence.
Sometimes just reading what others have experienced can make you feel like you get through this tough week too. You read quotes of people talking about what they've been able to endure in their lives and you're like "WOW. Maybe I can deal with my crappy job for one more day."
Because when you start believing in the power of persevering, you can spread it to others that need it the most.
We are all imperfect, insecure humans who have moments of doubt. We struggle with the power that doubt has over us. But taking a positive mindset each and every day can help us persevere through our hardest times. Whether that positive change is large or minuscule, ANYTHING can train your brain to believe in the triumph at the end of your struggles.
Something does lie ahead for you, for EVERYONE. Just believing in ourselves brings us one step further to that something.
I’m not going to sugar coat it. Life is HARD but so are you! So get out there and kick some butt! When life brings you down, remember every hard moment you've survived and the strength you gained from each one.
