Find out before you say "I do!"

Sometimes, when we’re starting a new relationship, we skip ahead and try to imagine what the relationship would be like if it was more long-term and committed.
We wonder what kind of partner or husband our guy would be. Ultimately, we wonder if they have the characteristics and compatibility factors that we’d need in someone that we’d ostensibly be spending our lives with.
It’s hard to know what someone will be like years or even decades down the road.
People change and grow and the best that we can do is hope that the qualities we feel in love will remain and even grow deeper.

Although it’s helpful to know what you want in a partner, you can’t become too tied to your list as it will blind you to options and qualities you might not have known that you needed.
It’s also good to know what are your absolute deal-breakers, characteristics, and behaviors that you just can’t tolerate.
Perhaps this guy would be better as a friend with benefits rather than someone who you’re tied to forever.
You also should take into consideration how well you’re matched with your partner and the ways in which you might change in the future.
Will you still be emotionally and sexually compatible?
You may not be someone who puts too much faith into astrology, but it’s still fun to see how close the stars are to what people are like.
