That's exactly how the zodiac signs who are too proud to apologize feel. Unfortunately, it can become something the people in their lives must accept.
Those who think apologizing makes you a weaker person are wrong. Apologizing takes strength and self-awareness. You need to understand the whys of your apology before you consider the hows.
Pride is a good quality to have, but when it becomes too important, it can get in the way of your growth as a person and affect your relationships in harmful ways. If you’re too proud to apologize, you might be too proud to admit you were wrong, or you may not have any idea of the hurt you caused.
1. Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
When you're as stubborn as Taurus, it can also make it difficult for you to admit your mistakes. To apologize, Taurus would have to not only recognize that they made a mistake, but take ownership of it, and that's not an option.
Apologizing feels too much like a loss of power for Taurus, and they prize their strength. Most of the time, they feel it's the other person's responsibility to apologize.
2. Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarians are too proud to apologize because it makes them feel "less than," and the last thing they want is for their ego to take a hit. Aquarians can be unaware of their faults, and by apologizing, they'd be recognizing they made an error. And that won't do.
They prefer to detach from the situation until emotions have cooled and everybody can talk things over in a business-like way. The best-case scenario is when a situation is handled without any apology from Aquarius.
3. Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios are much more sensitive than they like to let on, and apologizing makes them feel too exposed and weak. They don't want anyone to take advantage of or see an apology as an opportunity to strike when Scorpio is at their most vulnerable.
Scorpios have a variety of methods of getting out of situations intact and avoiding getting blamed. They didn't do anything wrong; that must have been someone else, or the situation was clearly misinterpreted.
4. Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
Apologizing makes Pisces feel as if they're bad people or are just terrible at almost everything. It's not that they don't feel sorry or think another person doesn't deserve an apology; it's simply that Pisces doesn't think their own psyche can handle putting themselves into such a defenseless position and surviving it.
The best line of defense for Pisces is to do nothing and hope it resolves itself without anyone getting hurt, especially themselves.
5. Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos have the highest standards for everything they do, and apologizing is like putting a spotlight on the ways they have failed. It's challenging enough for them to forgive themselves for their faults or mistakes, let alone open themselves up for possible pain and rejection.
Virgos feel enough shame, and an apology would only make them feel worse. If Virgo apologized, it would make them feel like they didn't know what they were doing, and that isn't something they're comfortable with.
