There's A New Dating App That Matches Singles & Couples Who Are Into Kinky Sex

If you're single you've likely tried dating on Tinder, and then sadly (or gratefully) realized that more than anything it's a hookup app — not so much a dating app.

And since it's release there's been a string of other dating apps to come along with similar features and users with similar motives, some more upfront than others. One of those dating app variations being KinkD, a community of people into and seeking partners (couples and/or singles) who are looking to get a little kinkier with their hookups. 

They have labeled themselves as "Tinder for Fetish Enthusiasts" for the "kinky and curious." The app is also available globally on iTunes and Google Play. 

But in case you're wondering about what fetishes this community may be inclusive of, I think a safe bet would be assuming all non-harmful fetish acts as they are openly the place to "find your golden shower partner." That, in my vanilla-ish, opens the door to a world of kink I don't even want to imagine being out there. 

So far, the community is made up of 30,000 people, probably a lot of hardcore kinksters as well as people like myself, who might be traumatized if they got a request for golden showers on a regular dating app or are just curious to see what else is out. 

The app virtually eliminates any awkwardness that could arise from your trying to explain what you're into sexually and not being sure what the reaction will be. It also allows you to dabble freely but safely — the app requires photo verifications and permission to access one another's "private photos."

John Martinuk, co-founder, said in a press release:

"The purpose of creating KinkD is to help kinky people connect with each other easier and bring a little kink into the bedroom. When sex starts to get monotonous, getting into kink can help you make your sex life great again.

The Fifty Shades series, along with the rumors of Trump and golden showers, have inspired discussions about Fetishes & BDSM. Society has become more open and accepting of kink. It's now seen as fun and positive, not grimy and nasty."

And although I myself can't understand certain kink and fetishes, I do think there needs to be a safe place to explore them and that yes, the world has become far more open to the unknown possibilities of sex and in general sexuality.
