Saying the same, old boring “I love you” on Valentine’s Day can get repetitive. I’m talking about Flowers, chocolates, teddy bears, repeat. Showing your affection is more than a card that says "I love you" and a gifted trip to the spa.
You might dread Valentine’s Day because you feel pressured to get someone a gift or because to don’t have anyone to get a gift for. Why is Valentine’s Day even a thing? Who made up such a holiday that forces people to be a little bit more romantic than usual and what did they gain from it? Whether you sit out or stay in, Valentine’s Day is coming.
Love it or hate it, you can't escape Valentine's Day. Even though that sounds like something out of a horror movie, it’s true. Whether you’re trying to secure a boo or if you want to keep the boo that you have happy. Being unique is key. Spontaneity, creativity, and unpredictability can lead to quite an amazing day.
Maybe Big Business has their dirty hands tied up in this conspiracy that is Valentine’s Day. Honestly, is it really such a bad idea for us to take a step back and really focus on showing appreciation for those we love the most? (I think not!)
