'90 Day Fiancé: Just Landed' Spoilers: Are Ray And Angelique Still Together?

Just when you think TLC has reached the limit of what they can do with the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, they managed to create yet another iteration of the popular series. This week, they released five mini-episodes of a new series called 90 Day Fiancé: Just Landed on their streaming platforms.

The easy-to-binge show follows couples in the 24 hours after the foreign fianceé get to the US. For each of them, that's day one of the 90-day countdown before they have to get married. Each episode is only about 15 minutes and in the final mini-episode, audiences get a quick "where are they now" update so they can find out what happened to the couples without having to wait for a special finale or tell-all later on.

One of the couples in this series is Ray and Angelique. Ray is a cable technician from California who has fallen in love with Angelique, a Filipina who has been living in Dubai for the past ten years. Now she's moving to California to start their life together — but there are some details he's neglected to share with his family and with his fiancé.

Are Ray and Angelique from '90 Day Fiancé: Just Landed' still together? Read on for big spoilers.

1. Ray is on the rebound from his divorce.

Ray, who's 31, tells the TLC cameras that he has been single for two years after a divorce. His wife cheated on him, something that was a tough situation for him, and he has taken time to recover from that.

He explained that one of the things he decided to do in the years after breaking it off with his ex was to spend time traveling. He chose the Philippines because he wanted to explore the country — and because he loves the food — but he couldn't find a friend to travel with him. Plan B for company while traveling was to open an account on Filipino Cupid and try and meet someone local to show him around.

Ray isn't the first 90 Day Fiance cast member to use that particular dating app. Tarik memorably met his fiancé Hazel on the dating site. That couple still appears to be dating long-distance based on Tarik's Instagram.

2. Angelique was actually living in Dubai when they met.

Angelique, who is also 31, explained that she grew up in the Philippines as one of eight children. Her family was poor and she ultimately left the country to pursue work in Dubai. She's a secretary at a company there and makes enough to support herself and send money back to her family as well.

She had a Filipino Cupid account because she says she likes meeting men from all over the world, particularly Americans. She giggled a bit, explaining that she thinks white guys are hot. After meeting Ray on the app, she joined him in her home country for his trip and the two hit it off.

3. They got to know each other while traveling.

The couple enjoyed their time together so much that they planned other trips and they really got to know one another while traveling. All in all, they spent two months together exploring countries like Thailand.

When Ray decided he wanted to propose, however, he was determined to do it in her hometown. He planned to ask her to marry him while her family was there so that they could be part of the process.

4. But he didn't bother to tell his family what was going on.

As much as Ray included Angelique's family in their relationship, he did not extend the same courtesy to his own family. While he mentioned that he was meeting up with Angelique on all these trips, he let his family think she was just a travel buddy, not a love interest.

He was afraid they would think he was jumping into a new relationship too quickly after his divorce. This is similar to what Chantel did in an earlier season of the show when she lied to her family and told them her fiancé Pedro was here on a student visa

To make matters worse, he didn't tell Angelique he was keeping their relationship status a secret. So she was getting ready to board a plane to the US from Dubai, not knowing that she was in for a bit of a shock when she got there and found out that her fiancé status was a surprise to his relatives.

Ray picks up Angelique at the airport.

5. How did his family take the news?

After completely blindsiding his fiancé in the car home from the airport, he expected her to set her disappointment aside to go to a family dinner. Angelique had looked shocked and sad when she found out that she wasn't going to be walking into a welcoming family and, honestly, it was quite brave of her to walk into the dinner at all.

The two of them joined Ray's family at a dinner at his aunt's house and shared that she was in the US on a K1 visa. Fortunately, Ray's family was great. Once they got over their initial surprise, they were welcoming and happy. His mom said incredibly kind things about Angelique in her confessional, sharing that she found her open-hearted.

6. Are Ray and Angelique from '90 Day Fiancé: Just Landed' still together?

Once they ironed out the issue of his family not knowing about their relationship, they didn't waste any time officially tying the knot. In the final episode, they told TLC cameras that they had a small ceremony with his family present just about a month after Angelique moved to the US.

Congrats to this 90 Day Fiancé success story!

You can watch all the episodes of the show on TLC's app and website.
