Life is strange. Life is weird. Life is unfair. Life is a lot of things and it is sometimes difficult to explain. It certainly has its ups and downs, one day you could be in a great mood and the next day you feel depressed.
Most times, you just have to roll with the punches and go with whatever life is throwing your way. We have no control of the cards we are dealt or what problems will stand in our way but we are strong enough to keep going. We may have problems but it’s important to enjoy our problems at times.
Life can be beautiful. Life is love. Although we might not know the meaning of it, there is a lot to learn from it. We get to witness and experience amazing things.
Some days you wake up feeling lucky and on top of the world. You might not know what twists and turns are in store, but it is important to try to look on the good side of things. It is incredible that you get to wake up in your body, go outside, and breathe in the fresh air around you.
When I think about life, I always think of it as a choice. With all the problems attached, I still wake up everyday choosing to live my life to the fullest. I actually have a quote about life tattooed on my back that says “the great work begins” from the play Angels in America. In Tony Kushner’s play, the main character, Prior Walter contracts AIDS in the mid-eighties and he tries to choose life and keep living. Before the final line of the play, which is written on my back, he blesses the audience with "more life."
