My favorite thing to do when I’m home alone is to blast musical theater show tunes and sing along at the top of my lungs. I always go full out with costumes, props, and set pieces. There’s just something about Broadway musical song lyrics that make you feel on top of the world.
I used to put on a weekly production of Spring Awakening in my bedroom when I was in high school. I have also famously taken over thirty Hamilton-themed SoulCycle classes. I just get so wrapped up in the story and journey a musical album can take you on.
I’m also absolutely addicted to love songs and living out the romantic moments from a Broadway show. I love belting crazy love ballads that take place during the Vietnam war, 19th century Germany, and even hell.
