Sure, it’s nice to know that your friends are welcome at your parents’ house anytime, but it’s definitely different. I always think of bringing home my boyfriends to meet my family like being on a show where there’s a panel of judges.
If the judges don’t like anything about what you’ve put in front of them, you’re in trouble.
Even if your family doesn’t outright say so, they are at least secretly putting judgment on your S.O. — you know, making sure he treats you right, wondering if he’s a good person, and all that.
If they don’t like him, it can make for a very difficult relationship for you and your S.O.
The same can be said for your family. Making sure he likes your family is just as important as making sure that your family likes him.
Think about it: If he doesn’t like your family, then whenever you want to spend time with them, he’s going to be absent or make a fuss.
It may not seem like such a bad thing when it’s not happening to you, but trust me, it can (really) crush your spirit to know that your man would rather stay at home than with you and your family.
Of course, it’s not always as simple as asking him outright if he likes your family or not. Sometimes, simply being honest like that can cause an argument.

SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpio can be a bit reserved around new people at first, especially if those new people are your parents and he’s trying to get on their good side.
