Are Tom And Darcey From '90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days' Still Together?

Darcey Silva has been chasing both love and fame for a long time so it should not surprise 90 Day Fiancé audiences to see her back on screen grasping for both. The 44-year-old fashion designer is appearing on the new season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days with a new man and a new hope that she'll find the last love she always wanted.

In earlier seasons of the franchise, fans watched Darcey start and end a passionate but disastrous relationship with Jesse Meester, a Dutch personal trainer 20 years her junior. Meester objected to nearly everything Darcey did, from her alcohol consumption to the way she suggested he prepare a steak. They finally called it quits — on camera naturally — and Jesse went on his way to try and find a career as a model or trainer. Darcey, for her part, must have stayed close to TLC producers because as soon as she got into a new relationship with a different foreign guy, she locked down another season of Before the 90 Days

Now she's headed to London to meet Tom and see if this time she has found true love. Are Darcey and Tom still together? Read on for all the details.

1. Darcey and Jesse

In 2017, fans got to watch Darcey, a mom and business owner, take a leap of faith and fly to Amsterdam to connect in person with Jesse. They had been conducting a relationship online and the two were both convinced that they were headed for happily ever after, despite the notable difference in their ages. At first, they seemed to be on a path to true love but soon the cracks began to show. Jesse got on Darcey's case about how much makeup she wore, about how much wine she drank, and about her behavior in general. Darcey, for her part, spent the whole trip angling for a proposal and, when Jesse produced a ring and dropped to one knee in a windmill, she seemed convinced that her dream was coming true. Not the case. Jesse declared that the ring was just a sign of affection and he wasn't ready to get married yet. Darcey flew home still in love but not engaged.

The pair kept trying to make it work — or at least trying to stay on TV — during an explosive Tell All where Jesse yelled at Darcey in front of everyone and accused her of ruining their relationship — and in a season of Where Are They Now, he came to the US to visit her and meet her kids. He also lost his temper when she suggested he cut a steak a particular way and the two got into a major fight when she got one of his shoes dirty. They met up on camera one last time, in New York, with Darcey hoping for a reconciliation and Jesse aiming for another opportunity to tell Darcey how to behave. They ultimately said goodbye forever sometime in 2018, but he still keeps tabs on her nowadays and she keeps talking about him on her new show, according to Starcasm.

2. Darcey and Stacey

Taking audiences on a romantic roller coaster ride wasn't Darcey's first attempt at reality TV fame. As we reported here,  in 2010, Darcey and her twin sister Stacey shot a pilot for a show they called The Twin Life. In the intro, they said "I’m Darcey. And I’m Stacey. We’re two busy moms and wives dreaming of making it in showbiz. Oh, and did I mention we’re twins? And we live under one roof? There’s always a double dose of drama in our world! Welcome to The Twin Life!" The sisters, their husbands and their kids were all part of the concept for the show. It never took off, though it lives on on YouTube. Stacey has played a supporting role in Darcey's love dramas, appearing frequently on 90 Day Finacé, often as the voice of reason trying to keep Darcey from drifting fully into romantic delusions. In addition, the two of them appear together on Pillow Talk, where they watch episodes of other 90 Day franchises and comment on the cast. She and Darcey are evidently living together again and she's appeared in every episode this season.

3. New love interest

As this new season begins, Darcey having a day at the medi-spa, complete with fillers and cold-laser sculpting, to prepare to see her new love interest. Tom, who lives in London, is the object of her affection. She claims they have known each other for several years and, while they were always friendly, it was only after she split from Jesse that things started to get romantic with Tom. In a familiar refrain. she talks about how they have connected romantically despite the distance and she feels like she's ready to accept a marriage proposal as soon as they meet in person. As she told People magazine: “He’s got this wonderful softness about him that I love,” she adds. “We learn a lot from each other. We don’t take anything away from each other’s personality, like, there’s something that we could add to each other in the relationship, so it’s been beautiful.”

4. Meet Tom Brooks

This time around, the object of Darcey's affection is Tom Brooks, whom Soapdirt says is a British marketing pro who tells the camera that he scouts models for various brands. He suggests that he leads a rather jet-setting lifestyle, replete with luxury goods and beautiful women. He glibly shares his selfie-taking secrets with the audience, showing a series of decidedly handsome photos of himself in scenic locales, though it's impossible not to see that the selfies aren't a perfect representation of the man fans are seeing on their TV screens.

In one scene, he starts telling his sister about Darcey and she jokes that he's never been one for settling down, so what makes him think Darcey is the one? He remarks that he has known Darcey for four years and thinks she may be the one he would like to settle down with and that at 39-years-old, he might be ready for a more serious relationship.

5. Love at first sight?

Once Darcey arrives in London, Tom sends a driver to pick her up at the airport. After she goes through a truly comprehensive freshening up routine in a restroom, she heads to a restaurant where she meets Tom for the first time. Tom, despite likely having had the benefit of being able to get ready in his own home and slept in a real bed instead of on a plane, seems just as nervous as Darcey as he awaits her arrival. It's possible that he realizes that he doesn't look much like the photos he's been sending to her and, from the look on her face as she walks in and spots him, she realizes it too. But after some champagne to set the mood, the two hit it off and have a nice dinner.

6. Not as he appears

It isn't just Tom's selfie game that is a little misleading, as it turns out. The Instagram account Frauded by TLC took a look at Tom's social media accounts and noticed that he appeared to be stealing photos from other users. The pics in question depicted luxury watches, fragrances, and destinations. Tom has since deleted the stolen photos. Say what you want about Darcey, she's upfront about what she does to make herself look and feel better and she doesn't need to post fake snaps to impress anyone.

7. Darcey is currently vying to be Maxim's Covergirl.

The link in Darcey's Instagram bio takes you to Maxim's Covergirl search, where users can vote on their favorite contestants and browse hot modeling photos of said contestant. Darcey is currently 16th in the competition as of this writing. What that tell us about the status of Tom & Darcey's relationship is unclear, but one thing is clear: Darcey lives for publicity.

It's hard to see if they're together or not now. Since Tom had to purge all the fake photos from his Insta, there's nothing left except for a handful of selfies. Nothing about Darcey or anyone at all. As for Darcey, she's a veteran of TLC non-disclosure-agreements and knows how to keep audiences in suspense until the season finale.
