Who is Nats Getty? Who is Gigi Gorgeous' wife? We have all the details.

1. Nats

Nats is a California native and her parents are Ariadne Getty and Justin Williams. She uses her mother’s last name professionally because of its recognizability; her great grandfather on her mother’s side was Jean Paul Getty, the founder of Getty Oil. Nats has a clothing label called Strike Oil as a tribute to the family business and she has been an outspoke advocate for LGBTQ+ rights.  She and Gigi met at Paris Fashion Week in 2016 when the two were both modeling Nats’ brother August’s fashion line.

2. Gigi

Gigi is a Canadian YouTube star who first started making waves as a teenager doing beauty tutorials on the site. In 2008, Gigi was still using the name Gregory and identifying as a gay man. By 2013, following the death of her mother and after meeting trans model Amanda Lepore, she realized that she wasn’t living as her “most authentic self,” as she said to People in 2016. She began her transition in 2013 and changed her YouTube name from Gregory Gorgeous to Gigi Gorgeous, though her legal name is Giselle Lazzarato. In 2017, a documentary about her life called This Is Everything: Gigi Gorgeous, premiered at Sundance. At this time, both her YouTube channel and Instagram feed have over two million subscribers.

Their engagement was exquisite.

4. Family

During their engagement, the couple started discussing their plans for having a family. In an emotional video, People reports, Gigi revealed that they have been trying to have a baby but have faced obstacles to doing it on their own. While Gigi says she has not had gender reassignment surgery, her sperm production may be inhibited by the hormone treatments she is on. She also shared her emotional pain at being a woman who is not able to carry a pregnancy herself. She said that “It’s such an unfair thing to me...some days I just get so frustrated and just so angry that I can’t just go through that. Childbirth and being pregnant is something that I’ve always wanted. I feel like you feel the most feminine, you look the most feminine. Your baby is yours, it has your DNA...It’s everything that I want and it’s everything that I want for my relationship with Nats.” She then shared that she hoped merely talking about the issue would give her the courage to move forward, saying: “I’m hoping that talking about it and getting it off my chest and sharing it with you guys will give me the strength to go back and see where I’m at in my transition to go through with this and to freeze [sperm],” she says. “I’m gonna end up doing it because I feel like I face everything in my life that scares me.”

5. Wedding

While the couple has faced struggles in some aspects of their life together, their wedding was certainly not a disappointment. When they first got engaged, Gigi said: “We are obviously going to have an extravagant wedding. i’m only going to be able to do it once and that is just my personality, so in a dream world I would have the biggest wedding on Earth with a Princess Diana-level dress.” True to predictions, they had their wedding beachside at Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, California. The wedding party all wore white with pale rose accents. Gigi changed outfits several times during the festivities, with all her dresses being designed by Michael Costello. For the rehearsal dinner, she wore a stunning form-fitted gown designed by Nats’ brother August Getty.
