They were spending a romantic time together in France when Palmer decided it was the perfect time to take their relationship to the next step. 1. Who is Jesse Palmer?
Fans of one of the longest-running reality tv shows, The Bachelor, know Palmer from back in 2004 when he was one of the first Bachelors the show had. Since his time on The Bachelor, Palmer has had a lot going on. He's since been on Good Morning America, hosted multiple TV shows and specials, and is currently hosting Daily Mail TV. Palmer was also a former NFL quarterback and played for the New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers before retiring in 2007 to pursue a career in broadcasting, according to cheatsheet.com.
2. Who is Emely Fardo?
Emely Fardo is a Brazilian model. She's also a freelance photographer and Instagram influencer. The 33-year-old model just got engaged to the 40-year-old TV host, sports commentator and former Bachelor. Palmer spoke to Dailymail.com about his beautiful fiancée. He said: "I’ve been so enamored, so in love with this woman and it only has grown. I’m head over heels for her".
3. How They Met
According to Page Six, the couple met while taking a boxing class at Rumble in New York City, a workout place that teaches boxing-inspired, full-body strength training and conditioning. Palmer and Fardo were dating for a little over two years before he finally decided to pop the question and she happily said yes!
4. She said yes!
Who knew Jesse Palmer was such a hopeless romantic?! Not only did he surprise his now fiancée with his proposal, but he also secretly planned the whole trip to France himself. It was a total surprise to Fardo. Palmer told People: "We had a week off of work so I booked tickets to Montreal and let her think we were staying 10 days at my home there...On Monday morning I surprised her and said 'pack your bags, we’re going to the airport.' When we got to the terminal, she realized we were going to Paris." According to People, Paris was where they took their first trip as a couple. Palmer popped the question with a 3.5-carat diamond ring, and of course Fardo said yes.
