5 Well-Intentioned Zodiac Signs Who Give Horrible Advice
Listen to what they say, and do the opposite.
getty If someone asks your advice, do you think you give solid, helpful advice? Or, do you kind of suck at it? Not everybody has a talent for giving good advice; in fact, some people are terrible at it.
Whether you give good or bad advice can be determined by the type of personality you have, your ability to solve problems, and even the zodiac sign you were born under. In astrology, who are the zodiac signs we need to stay away from when it comes to advising us?
Bad advice is everywhere, and if you’re not careful, you could find yourself in a big mess. There comes a point for all of us when we stop listening as much to those around us, and more to our own intuition.
Now, most bad advice isn’t malicious, and the person giving it is probably unaware of the negative consequences of their words. So, keep that in mind.
1. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
The reason why Pisces give such bad advice has more to do with them than with you. When they're giving out advice, that advice is tailored to them and their problems. They mean well, are very sensitive and intuitive, but their own emotions get in the way of giving useful advice.
They think everyone reacts and behaves the same way they do, and that's usually not the case. Pisces' advice often doesn't align with your situations or the parameters of your problem. Sometimes their advice isn't logical or even realistic.
2. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries don't have enough patience to sit down and fully consider what the best words of advice for someone should be. They speak right off the tops of their heads, and it tends to be a quick fix rather than something that may take a while to resolve.
Aries want end results and may not have all the steps needed to come to that solution. There's no weighing of the pros and cons, just a conclusion. It's like when in math class and students were supposed to show their work, Aries' page would be blank with nothing but the answer.
3. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
The problem with Scorpio's advice is that it tends to be emotionally charged. Scorpios tend not to have the objectivity that one needs when handing out advice. They put themselves in the situation and the advice they give is what they would do if they were in the advisee's shoes.
Scorpio may also have their own agenda in regards to the advice they give, so it's always a good idea to have some healthy skepticism when receiving advice from them. The worst advice comes when Scorpio is feeling jealous or threatened by the asker.
4. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarians know a lot about a lot of things, but they may not be the experts they feel they are in every category. Plus, good or bad, Sagittarians aren't indifferent and have an opinion on practically everything which can affect their advice-giving skills.
If Sagittarius doesn't have the background or experience in the topic they're giving advice on, it won't stop them from adding their two cents. The funny thing is that Sagittarius probably wouldn't follow their own advice if it was given to them.
5. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
If someone is being emotional, Aquarius may feel so uncomfortable that they may give some random advice to diffuse the situation. It may not be pertinent or even helpful. Aquarians have a lot of ideas on how things should be done, and they may not take the time to ask questions or get more information.
They may be so excited to share their words of wisdom that they may miss what the person is saying in the first place and give a solution to a completely different problem. There are times when Aquarius will give advice when no one asked for it.
