Who Is Jim Edmonds' Mistress? New Details On Woman At The Center Of Baseball Star's Cheating Scandal

The beans are spilled on who Jim Edmonds' mistress is. The former MLB player admitted to having an affair with a 34-year-old woman named Jennifer McFelia Villegas. Edmonds and Villegas were allegedly sending lewd photos and videos back and forth while Edmond's wife, Meghan King Edmonds, was pregnant with their twin sons in 2018. Edmonds claims he was blackmailed by Villegas and Villegas claims she received threatening messages from Edmonds' wife. Who is Jim Edmonds' mistress? 1. This isn't Villegas first rodeo

Us Weekly reports that Edmonds isn't the only MLB player Villegas has had relations with. She allegedly harrassed another player with endless phone calls, claiming that she was pregnant with his child. The unnamed player said to the magazine: “The second time we hung out, I was under the influence of a lot of alcohol and I fell asleep, and next thing you know she’s like well I’m pregnant.” Villegas told him that she lost the baby after delivering it prematurely and he gave her $5,000 to help take care of the expenses and medical bills. The player never received a birth certificate and he says Villegas, who is known as the Baseball Madame, continued to contact him, his friends and even his fiancée. 

2. Villegas' Statement

Villegas threatened to go public about her and Edmonds' interractions several times, but he payed her thousands in a non-disclosure agreement while his wife was pregant with their twins. Villegas felt she needed to say something, so on June 21st she gave a statement to AllAboutTheTea. She said she: "never set anyone up, blackmailed anyone nor have I attempted to ruin anyone’s family." She also said: "All my relationships have involved two consenting adults. I made a poor decision to enter a relationship with a married man, and for that I am sorry...My life today is completely devoted to my relationship with God and my daughter." Although they would sext, Edmonds claims he never touched Villegas. He says they met once under the stadium in Atlanta to ask why she was threatening to say they had an affair. Edmonds says she did it for the money. 

3. A Criminal Record

Affairs with MLB players aren't the only things Villegas has been caught in. She's been charged with two DUIs. According to the Daily Mail, Villegas was booked for a DUI in 2012 in Georgia and was accused of leaving her infant daughter in her car with no supervision in 2016. Although in her statement to AllAboutTheTea, Villegas says she's learned from her mistakes. She said, "I am no saint. My past includes two DUIs and for that I am deeply remorseful and I’ve learned from my mistakes." 

4. Jim and Meghan Edmonds today

The MLB Player and the former Real Housewives of Orange County star are working through their problems. Edmonds claims he had a lapse in judgment. However, the former reality star wrote in a personal blog: "It wasn't one mistake, one lapse in judgment. I saw the texts — each one represents his decision to throw our marriage in the trash." She however does seem optimistic for the future and doesn't seem to be thinking about divorce. Meghan King Edmonds wrote in another blog post: "Ultimately, I have hope our marriage can recover."
