1. Haley Stevens claimed she never broke up with Jed Wyatt before he went on The Bachelorette.

In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, Haley Stevens said that she was still dating Jed Wyatt up until, and including, the day he went on The Bachelorette to try to win Hannah Brown’s heart.

“We spent the night together the night before he headed to L.A. He told me [the show] was just an obstacle and we’d be stronger on the other side because of it. He told me [early on] that he had applied,” says Stevens, 26. “He said, ‘It’s probably not going to happen, but it’s a huge opportunity. I’m only doing this for my music.’ He only did it for his career,” she revealed, exclusively, to the outlet.

2. Jed Wyatt wrote Haley Stevens a love letter the day before he went on the show.

E! News has revealed that Jed Wyatt even went so far as to write her a love letter the day before he went on the show. In it, he reminded her that he was only going on The Bachelorette to promote his music career.

“Haley, you're truly an amazing person. Someday we will be thankful for all of this. You know where my heart will be. See you at the dock, J," it read, according to the outlet.

The outlet also revealed that the duo both played at the CMA Fest with their respective bands, and acted just like a couple would. The interesting part of all of this is, Jed Wyatt was already on The Bachelorette when this encounter happened. Messy, messy, messy!

Messy. This one right here? He's MESSY!

3. Did Jed Wyatt get engaged to Hannah Brown?

Buzzfeed reveals that famed Bachelorette blogger Stephen Carbone said, through an unverified source, that Jed Wyatt not only fell in love with Hannah Brown — thus really putting a damper on Haley Stevens’ plans — he actually popped the question!

“On May 20, Carbone claimed that this season's lead, Hannah Brown, chose Tyler Cameron and he proposed. However, he changed his prediction on Tuesday. Carbone claimed his sources had given him bad info and Brown was actually engaged to Jed Wyatt, a singer from Nashville,” they wrote, adding that one day after “Reality Steve” dropped the bombshell, Haley Stevens came forward with her revelation.

Oh, Hannah — if the rumors are true, you can do so much better than Jed Wyatt.

4. Whatever the case, Jed Wyatt has proven to be an absolute jerk.

Why do men do this, though?

According to Pop Culture, Haley Stevens revealed that Jed Wyatt was not only using Hannah Brown to advance his musical career, he completely ghosted Haley Stevens without so much as a phone call explaining why he’d done what he did.

“The hardest part is that he ghosted me," Haley Stevens said. “He kept telling me, 'I don't want my dad to have to help me pay rent anymore.' He said he only wanted to be top five ... to be a major player so that it would be beneficial.”

Maybe #ForeverAlone isn’t the worst idea after all.

He did it all for the music. Sigh. #ForeverAlone
