Which of our character traits, hates being lied to the most?

It is hard to reveal certain things about ourselves. Be it our age, or our true feelings, or maybe how we see other people. We are taught to lie as kids, when we have to say things like, "Thank you so much, I had a wonderful time" when in truth we had an okay time.
Or when we say things like "Thank you for the socks grandma, that's exactly what I wanted for Christmas".
We are taught that it is nicer to lie than to tell the truth. As we age, we start to lie for more selfish reasons.
We tell a story at school and change the ending to make ourselves look cooler. We lie to our parents about finishing our chores, or about which friends house were going to after school.
Some people don't know how to stop lying. They lie about big things, about small things, they lie for no reason at all.
There are theories that people who lie compulsively have gone through childhood traumas.
There are theories that people who had overly strict parents are more likely to be liars.
There was a study done by the University of Southern California that says people who lie compulsively actually have brains that work differently.
They say that there are actual structural differences in the prefrontal cortexes in the brains of pathological liars as opposed to "normal" people.
Whatever reason people lie, it always hurts when the truth is reveled.
It makes us feel stupid to have believed something based on the word of someone who didn't hold us in high enough regard to be honest.
It makes us feel like we don't even know the person who lied to us all. All the experiences we've had with that person suddenly become cheapened.
I have to imagine if someone is lying constantly, it comes from a place of great pain. When confronting a liar I think it is important to explain why it hurt you, personally.
I don't think it is necessary or even helpful to cut them down and diminish what it is likely already a low sense of self worth.
I think it is more helpful to show them the ramifications of their lie, than the defect within them that made the do it in the first place.
Don't make them feel that lying is unavoidable for them, but make them see the pain it causes. It is hard to make yourself vulnerable like that, but I truly think it is worth it.
We all do it. We all lie. We spread these little untruths to make ourselves seem cooler, to cover up a secret, to avoid hurting someone’s feelings.
We lie out of spite, out of anger, out of insecurity, and sometimes out of kindness.
We all have also been lied to. It doesn’t feel good. It makes you feel foolish for believe it. It makes you feel hurt for being distrusted. It makes you feel angry for being disrespected.
Nobody likes being lied to. Why we don’t like being lied to can differ from situation to situation, and person to person.
Here are reasons we hate being lied to, based on our zodiac signs.
ARIES (March 21- April 19)
Aries people love efficiency. They want to get things done and checked off their list. So when you lie to an Aries, this sets them back a few steps. They hate delays in progress. And that is how they see lies, as delays.
Aries are very short tempered, so if an Aries is lied to the will likely confront the liar head on. They aren't afraid of a little confrontation and they will make sure they are not lied to again.
TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)
Taurus people hate sudden changes. If you lie to them and they find out, this changes their trajectory drastically, whether it be emotionally or progressively. Uncovered lies become sudden changes. Taurus also HATE synthetic fabrics.
They see them as as little lies you can wear. Taurus will likely react very physically when they uncover a lie. Not in a violent way but they will feel the betrayal as a tangible pain as opposed to an emotional one.

GEMINI (May 21- June 20)
Gemini’s are very chatty. They have the ability to talk to anyone and everyone, and they love doing it! Information with Geminis moves quickly. So if you lie to them, they could easily spread that lie without knowing it. The good Gemini word is at stake here!
There would be no way of remembering how many people they told, thus no taking it back. Geminis won't know how to react to a liar. They will probably want to make a joke but also they want the liar to know that they are hurt. Geminis are sort of lose cannons.
CANCER (June 21- July 22)
Cancers are very insecure. They never feel like they are enough, whether it be cool enough, smart enough, fun enough, basically all of the good enoughs. If they catch you in a lie, that makes them feel like they are not worth enough to you to tell them the truth.
If you are a person that brings security into their life, that lie breaks the foundation of that security. And cancers are very suspicious in general, so if you are lying to them they are bound to sniff it out. If a Cancer uncovers a liar, they will probably say "I knew it" before they get mad. Once they have time to process the lie, they will pessimistic about their ability to get over it.
LEO (July 23 – August 22)
Leos are very lazy. Lying to them causes them extra work. If you tell them you completed a task, and they find out you are lying, they have the extra work of calling you out on your lie, helping you to finish the task, or possibly even firing you.
If you lie to them in a relationship, they have to put in emotional work they really and truly don’t think they have the energy for. Lazy Leos Loath Liars. If a Leo is lied to, they will probably react with a long, dramatic, perhaps slightly self righteous speech about how hurt they are, and how little the liar must think of them.
VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)
Virgos are very detail oriented. They love to collect and review facts meticulously over and over again. If you tell them something is not true, that messes up everything they have been working so hard to organize. They love facts more than anything.
And what is the antithesis of a fact? A lie. Virgos will react to a liar with disbelief. How on earth could someone decide to lie, when it messes up everything. To Virgos, truth holds more value than other signs, and life won't seem real without it. It will literally not compute that someone would actually tell a Virgo a lie.

LIBRA (September 23- October 22)
Libras love harmony. They love balance. They love order. If you lie to a Libra, that ruins their harmony. It throws them out of whack completely. If you lie to a Libra, they are going to have to confront you. Libras hate confrontations more than anything.
Lying to a Libra could upset the very balance of their lives. Libras will probably internalize being lied to. They will feel hurt, but won't have the courage to voice the pain. It will ball up inside of them to keep the peace. Essentially turning the lie into another lie.
SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)
Scorpios are very distrusting to begin with. If you somehow miraculously make it into their circle of trust, and then you choose lie to them, there is no returning. Scorpios do get a slight bit of happiness if you lie to them, only because they can validate that they were right about you.
Even the tiniest lie will paint you as a liar in their minds forever. Scorpios will act violently when lied to. Scorpios will throw things and bang on tables. They hate being lied to.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 21)
Sagittarius people hate details. They hate learning and studying details. If you lie to a Sagittarius, you’re forcing them to go back and review a million details. Details like how many times you have lied to them. Details like whether or not this is the first lie you’ve told them.
Details like if they will ever be able to trust you again. Sagittarius people are already loners. They will likely cut a liar completely out of their life. They don't need people the way other signs may, so it will be easy to completely remove a liar from their life.
CAPRICORN (December 22- January 19)
Capricorns are responsible people who are very family oriented. If you lie to a Capricorn, you are lying to their whole family. And no one disrespects a Capricorn’s family. They don’t have time for lies because they are responsible for so many people.
By lying to them you are putting the people a Capricorn loves at risk of getting hurt. And they won’t allow that. When lied to, Capricorns will likely condescend to a liar. They will tell them all of the reasons why they should have known better. They will act disappointed in the liar, in a parental way, more than a person who is actually hurt.

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 18)
Aquarius people run from emotional expression. They cannot take it. If you lie to them, you are forcing them to confront you emotionally. And they hate that. You are forcing them into the place where they are most uncomfortable.
They will get angrier at you for making them tell you how angry they are, then they were just because they were lied to. When an Aquarius is lied to they will likely swallow any pain they feel from the betrayal. They will act like it doesn't bother them. They will not pontificate. They will just act like it was nothing, even if it really hurt them.
PISCES (February 19 – March 20)
Pisces people are overly trusting. They want to trust you and they will always choose to trust you. If you lie to them its heartbreaking because trust is such an important part of healthy relationships to Pisces people. To anyone really but especially Pisces.
Pisces will not be angry that you lied. They’ll be disappointed. And that will cut deep. Pisces will likely confront a liar by saying something along the lines of "after all I've done for you". They will focus more on why they didn't deserve it personally, than why the lie was told.
