They step up when they're needed.

There are times when we need someone to lead, someone who is good at taking action, making decisions, and isn’t afraid to let their thoughts be known. When there’s an emergency and no one knows what to do, someone has to step up.
And it's the zodiac signs who take charge that make the most difference. Whether or not you believe in astrology, take-charge people are sometimes accused of being pushy or aggressive, but that’s not always a fair assessment; they’re only doing what they think needs to be done.
Clearly, if no one is stepping up to the plate, somebody must. You have to be forceful enough that others will follow, but not to the point where your requests seem like bullying!
It takes a certain personality to be this way. You probably aren’t shy and are used to standing up for yourself. You’re good at asking for help and telling people what they need to be doing. You’re discerning enough to know what’s important and what’s not.
When you’re someone who takes charge, you’re logical enough to know that not everything is going to work out the way you hope it will. There will be failures, but that doesn’t stop you from trying to do your best.
1. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns are always going to do what needs to be done — it's just the way that they're wired. They'll step up and take charge, especially if no one else has made a move.
Capricorns aren't the type of people who just sit back and let other people do what's necessary. They're cautious, so they're not going to act impulsively. They are disciplined and won't rush something just to get it done; if they're doing it, they want it done well.
2. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos are natural leaders and know that people will expect them to step up and take charge, so that's what they're going to do. Leos are good at assigning tasks and making everyone get involved. If it's a non-emergency situation, they know to get people who will complement Leo's many strengths.
This zodiac sign wants a team that's going to make them look good and get the job done right. Leos are known for their great communication skills and how they inspire people around them to do their best.
3. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarians tend not to have a lot of fear, so they react from a very self-assured, confident place. They believe they know what to do in almost every situation, so they're going to do it. They don't hold back and they don't wait for someone else to assign them the leader.
If something doesn't work in the way Aquarius hoped, they have the ability to accept the failure and move on. Failing doesn't prevent them from taking charge in the future; if anything, it makes them even more determined.
4. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus are persistent and strong; you can trust them to take charge in a situation that needs it. They won't give up when things get hard or complicated. Once they've committed to something, it's practically impossible to get them to quit.
They have the kind of stubbornness that you want sticking up or protecting you. When a they act, it's in a determined way. Taurus know what they want, and they know the path to get it.
5. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries don't have a lot of patience, so they're not going to wait around until somebody else volunteers. No, Aries is going to take charge, sometimes impulsively and without thinking things through, but sometimes any action is better than nothing.
They are constantly working at improving themselves, so when something arises, they're ready to step up. Aries have the ability to make quick and definite decisions under pressure.
