chick flick quotes romantic movie quotes

Chick flicks: they're a guilty pleasure! We can all admit they're not cinematic masterpieces, but there's something so fun and lighthearted about a chick flick that makes us want more. Movie studios continue to crank out these movies on Netflix, Hulu and the like because they cater to a huge audience — mainly women. If you're lucky, you have a special guy in your life who's willing to sit through one of these movies.

I've never seen a chick flick that made me think hard or brought on a deep conversation like some movies do after you watch them, but that's the beauty of them. They're easy to watch and they somehow make me feel good

The early 2000's was a time when chick flicks peaked in popularity. I mean all the classics we think of today came out at that time! "Mean," "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," "13 Going on 30," "Legally Blonde," the list goes on and on.

This past weekend, I watched a lot of chick flicks and romantic comedies and realized they all have the same feel. It's almost like each movie uses the same formula that works every time. The movies even have similar music! Overall, when I feel like watching a happy, feel-good movie, I always turn to a good chick flick.
