Even Nev Schulman of "Catfish" offered to help find Dina Lohan's boyfriend.

Dina Lohan shocked the houseguests on Celebrity Big Brother and fans watching when she revealed she has a mystery boyfriend. Not that it’s unbelievable for the 56-year-old mom of Lindsay Lohan to have a boyfriend — but what is shockingly unbelievable is that she's kept him secret for five years. Even more shocking is that she has never seen him, let alone met him in person.
Lohan revealed to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss that she has been talking to a guy on the phone every day for the past five years. The strange twist is that Lohan has never actually met this person in real life. This “special someone” hasn’t revealed his face to Lohan over video conference or FaceTime for that matter, even though she says “I feel like I know him.”
So who is Dina Lohan's boyfriend, and why have they never met?
1. She thinks they'll get married.
Lohan, who is competing on season two of Celebrity Big Brother, opened up to her fellow housemates about her unique love life during Thursday night’s episode. Even though the two have never met, Lohan sounded confident they would one day get married.
“I can’t wait to tell you about this guy,” she told Kandi Burruss, Tamar Braxton, and Natalie Eva Marie. “I’ve been talking to him for five years. Like, every day. A lot. I feel like I know him.”
2. They've never video chatted.
When she was asked about the possibility of video chatting or using FaceTime, Dina dismissed the idea from her co-stars: "Lies! That's a lie, from the pit of the devil's stomach, don't you believe that."
“It’s real!” Dina insisted. “Some guys don’t just use iPhones!”
Still, Tamar Braxton finds it hard to believe that this man doesn't know how to FaceTime.
"What is going on?" she asked. The girls added that if Lohan were to go visit this man, she'd have to bring a friend with her for the first visit.
3. He lives in San Francisco.
Lohan explained why she hadn’t met her long-distance beau yet; he is apparently living in San Francisco and taking care of his mother. We also know that he doesn’t use FaceTime. We don’t know what his name is, what he does for a living, or what he looks like. But that doesn't bother Lohan.
“You know when you talk to someone on the phone, like you feel like you know them?” she added. "He’s real. I swear, it’s crazy. But I’m going to marry him. It’s really, really true. I talk to his ma!”
4. Michael Lohan has known about him.
Dina’s ex-husband, Michael Lohan, told The Blast that he has known about this mystery boyfriend for a while.
“How she thinks he’s a boyfriend is beyond me, but hey, stranger things have happened with Dina,” he said. “I just hope she’s not putting herself in a dangerous position with this guy. It strikes me weird that after 5 years they haven’t met given he said he’s so wealthy."
According to The Blast, Michael said Dina used to complain that the mystery man was a “stalker.”
5. Nev Schulman wants to investigate.
Lohan’s ex is not the only one who finds it odd that Dina hasn’t actually met or seen her supposed boyfriend IRL. Dina’s fellow houseguest, Tamar Braxton, is sure she is getting “catfished.” Braxton, 41, offered to accompany Lohan a trip to the Bay Area to finally meet her mystery boyfriend in person.
This whole incredible story caught the attention of Nev Schulman of Catfish fame who is now determined to help Lohan.
"YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME," the 34-year-old tweeted alongside a screenshot of a news story about Lohan's confession. "Let's do this!"
The MTV star wants to help Lohan by using his investigative skills. Back in 2010, he co-directed and starred the film Catfish in which he traveled across the country to meet a woman he'd fallen in love with online, only to discover she wasn't who she claimed to be. That film prompted the subsequent MTV show.
Lohan hasn't responded to Schulman's offer yet, but she should seriously take him up on this offer. He is ready to take on this case, tweeting “WANNA FIND @DINALOHAN's "BOYFRIEND" SOOOOO BAD!”
6. This is the only public relationship she's spoken out about since her divorce.
Dina’s new relationship comes over a decade after the reality star settled her divorce from ex-husband Michael Lohan. The couple were married in 1985 and agreed to a separation in 2005. The couple parent daughters Lindsay, 32, and Ali, 25, and sons Cody, 22, and Michael Jr., 31.
Celebrity Big Brother airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. And hopefully soon, we'll see Dina Lohan on an episode of Catfish.
