getty Does gift giving make you happy? If so, you might be born under one of the zodiac signs who shower their loved ones with gifts. And whether or not you follow astrology, it takes a special personality to get joy when being generous with others.
Some gift-givers pride themselves on being able to pick the perfect present, while others get satisfaction in how the gift is presented. Gift-givers can be completely unselfish or only out for their own gain. But for some, seeing their loved one’s face lit up with happiness is all they really need in return.
Some people don’t get any joy from giving gifts and find it to be a burden when the occasion calls for a present. These people don’t delight in searching for the perfect gift but would rather give a gift card or money.
What some people don’t realize is that gifts don’t always have to be material items. A great gift might be a promise to do a task or it might be a donation for a charity in someone’s name. The best gifts involve a little imagination, some knowledge about the person getting the gift, and doing some planning.
If you are a gift-giver, be grateful for whatever gift you get. Most of the power in that gift is that it was purchased with you in mind and with love.
1. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos are the number one gift-givers of the zodiac and they get a lot of pleasure from it. They enjoy the shopping aspect (sometimes even getting a gift or two for themselves), finding the perfect gift for someone, and the joy that their gifts bring to the receivers.
Leos take a lot of pride in their work and that includes buying gifts. If you get a gift from a Leo, make sure that you are not only thankful but that you praise them. They want to have their gift-giving abilities acknowledged.
2. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras enjoy giving gifts and they really don't expect anything in return. They get enough in the act of giving that they don't need to get anything in return. Giving gifts is a great way for Libra to show their love and to make someone feel special.
Libra especially enjoys giving unexpected and unique gifts. If they can find the perfect gift that the receiver didn't even know that they needed, their satisfaction is doubled.
3. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
You might think that Capricorns are too practical to be big gift-givers, but you would be wrong. They've worked hard for their money and they've earned the right to spend it the way that they choose, so don't be surprised if Capricorn gives you an overly generous gift.

Sagittarians are constantly on the move and can be forgiven if they miss a birthday or any other special gift-giving occasion. But the truth is, Sagittarians remember all of the important dates and they always have a gift to go along with it.
They are likely to pick up that unique gift on their travels and they have a great instinct for knowing people's tastes. When a Sagittarius gives you a gift, it's something you'll probably treasure for your entire life.
5. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Since Taurus have an innate appreciation of beauty and the sensuality, their gifts are all about activating the senses. They love to share their taste of the good life and art with others.
They have style and taste, and those qualities are transferred to their gift-giving, but that isn't to say that they don't share the simple pleasures with their gifts as well. 6. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces are full of love and one of the ways they like to show it is with gifts. Their gifts can be as simple as a bunch of daisies or as complex as a piece of jewelry that they made themselves.
