You're not as good as them.

No matter what day or age we live in, there's always going to be someone who thinks they are better than someone else. It's never going to change. Our egos are what keep us self-protective, but sometimes we do indeed take that protection too far.
Say for instance you feel nervous about someone standing too close to you. Instead of owning up to your own neurotic behavior, you might project your neuroses onto someone else, giving them the opportunity to be the bad guy for you. Maybe they suddenly smell bad, or make your nervous because... because... they are not you.
Such is the way for the condescending zodiac signs in astrology. We condescend to others when we are insecure about being taking seriously. If we were solid on self-confidence, we would have no need to make anyone feel bad or less than the holier-than-thou "we."
We condescend to scare others, to make them think we're the alpha, the one who might chew their head off if things don't go right. The scary one. But acting in a condescending manner is an unconscious show of fear.
1. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
This is your top most condescending zodiac sign right here, ladies and gentlemen. Aries is an extremely self-confident sign. They count on it and believe in themselves, so when they put others down, it's not with malice in their hearts but with an unwavering belief in themselves.
Unfortunately, they are often times less than kind in their approach and their "guidance" can come off as demeaning.
2. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Naturally snobbish, Gemini seeks the finer things in life. Unfortunately, once they find those finer things, all other things are rendered "less than fine," and so goes it with their owners as well.
If you care for something a Gemini doesn't honor, be prepared to hear how your "thing" isn't as good as their "thing."
3. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
It's not only that Leo has a tendency to condescend and make others feel little, it's that the act of doing so can become quite spectacular and theatrical if done right. So, Leo doesn't mind treading over your ideas, as long as they've wearing Gucci while they do it.
"Look at me, look at me! I'm putting you down 'cause you're wrong!"
4. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo is all top shelf... in their mind. This sign has lofty personal dreams, which usually get accomplished after stepping on other people's heads.
Alas, they never get what they want, and that ends in bitter, bitter, bitterness, which becomes sassy, sassy, sassy condescension. If Virgo is "nice" to you, it's just because they're sizing you up for the kill.
5. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Let's just say Scorpio gets paid to condescend to you. Whatever station in life a Scorpio has found themselves in, you can rest assured that if they are relating to other human beings, they are in a position where they can boss them around.
And if the goin' gets good, Scorpio can not only condescend to you, but they can put you down and verbally abuse you. That'll cost you, though.
6. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Why on earth would this kind, sweet, compassionate and beautiful sign be considered condescending? Because in the mind of a Sagittarius, there is no being greater than they.
Sag has a guru complex, and you know what comes with guru complexes, right? Major "namaste" superiority trips, of course. Sagittarius brings us the most condescending bunch of snotbags ever to walk the earth.
