They refuse to believe that things can't change.

Most people participate in some kind of activism, because even a little can do a lot of good. But what’s the difference between someone who occasionally does something to help others, and someone who is a great activist?
What personality traits are needed for a dedicated activist? Well, since so much of our personalities are influenced by astrology, it makes sense that there would be activist zodiac signs who are involved in causes.
Activists are stubborn because they refuse to accept that things should stay the way they are. They gladly take on the challenges involved when they commit to working to bring about political or social change.
While activists want change to happen quickly, they will work for as long as they can, no matter how long it takes or how hard they must work. They are dedicated to the task at hand.
They are persistent and don’t back away when things get hard. To them, no matter how insurmountable something may appear, the activist will keep at it until there is a crack in the foundation. If you truly want to make the world a better place, then you have to be selfless and sometimes put your own needs second in favor of the cause.
An activist must have many of the same qualities of a leader because they're often called upon to lead. They need to be inspiring, empathetic, and strong to continue against the odds and the belief of their opposition that they will fail.
1. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarians are well known for their humanitarian efforts. They're activists through and through, and are always volunteering, protesting, or doing anything they can to bring about change. They bring their intelligence and talent for invention to whatever issues they're fighting for.
Once an Aquarius gives their word, they will fulfill it, and that goes double for anything that assists them in their fight for justice. They prefer not to compromise if they don't have to and lean towards more extreme methods when advocating for a cause.
2. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries aren't people who back down from a fight — they're the individuals at the front of the protest, and if things get confrontational, they will get even louder and stronger. Aries won't accept that some things can't change.
When they're advocating for a cause, there are few things that will stop them. They are tenacious and will not hold back when it comes to fighting for what they believe in. When an Aries is engaged in activism, they're passionate, focused, and impulsive. If something seems unsafe but will bring about the greatest change, they will do it anyway.
3. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces have many of the qualities that make an excellent activist: they're selfless, compassionate, and have a desperate need to help. Pisces are known for putting the needs of others over their own needs — it's just how they're wired!
Pisces aren't afraid to stand up against those who would harm people for their own gain. Although Pisces love being lost in the world of their imagination, they're unable to block out the pain of others and it's their empathy that makes them effective activists.
4. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos aren't cocky, they just know they can accomplish things that need to be done, and in a broken world, there are always things to be done. Virgos are researchers and come up with the most effective plans to bring about change.
They're not afraid to stand side by side with people and speak publicly about the things that need to be fixed or changed completely. They can think outside the box so when they want to change the world they do it in creative ways.
5. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras don't love confrontation but they hate injustice even more. Libras are amazing advocates and will stand up for what they believe in. They're not trying to cause disharmony and create tension, but they will not stay silent and let injustice continue.
Libras are all about balance which means that when there's inequality, that fires them up to take action. In spite of the odds not being in their favor, they will continue to fight because they know in their heart it's the right thing to do.
6. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos are natural leaders and can be extremely determined. They are very optimistic, but that doesn't mean they turn a blind eye to the things that must be changed. Leos need to do what they can to make things better for everyone and to make the planet a more livable place.
They will organize, make speeches, volunteer, and do whatever needs to be done. They're extremely loyal and persistent and will not give up. Even when things are bleak, they'll just fight that much harder.
