These zodiac signs are ready to start baking cookies and singing carols!

Are you ready for the holidays? Are you practically jumping out of your skin with excitement? I know some of you are! Some zodiac signs are just OBSESSED with the holidays.
This is the time of the year that's filled with the most magic and excitement for them, and they just can't get enough of the carols, cookies, and Christmas movies.
Each zodiac sign that loves the holiday season has something specific that they love the most.
Some like shopping for and receiving presents, some like spending time with family and friends, and others just like binge-watching movies and eating their weight in baked goods.
Whatever gets you excited about this time of year, I know that you've probably been waiting to break out those ugly sweaters and Christmas socks since wayyy before Halloween. In fact, you might be interested to know that there's some science behind why we all love the holiday season so much – and this is true for whatever holiday you love the most.
For one, looking forward to a special day once a year can lift your mood tremendously. Once that special holiday starts getting closer and closer, you're more likely to be happier and excited to look forward to something.
Holidays also give our lives structure and routine – and having routines are known for reducing stress.
Additionally, the act of sharing gifts and preparing food with loved ones is a ritual that is much more enjoyable to us than an everyday occurrence.
Basically, whatever your holiday tradition is, it's a good thing you get so excited for it – this really is a magical time of the year, after all. Bringing together the people you love the most to eat delicious food you've prepared and exchange gifts and conversation with is so important to us.
Even if you're not a huge fan of the holiday season for one reason or another, spending time with friends and family, or just pigging out on sugar and movies, is a way to unwind after a long year, right?
So maybe you're one of the horoscope signs who only just like the holiday season, one of the others who are pretty ambivalent to it all, and that's okay because you have other times of the year that you always look forward to.
But there are a few zodiac signs that just can't get enough of this time of year. Here are the zodiac signs who are OBSESSED with the holidays, according to astrology.
1. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus prepares for the holidays as soon as summer is officially over. And how does he prepare? By dusting off his favorite sweats so that he can eat his weight in delicious food until the new year.
Taurus doesn’t care if his plans include parties, family time, or just lazing around watching holiday movies – as long as he’s got a full plate of something in front of him, he’s happy.
You’ll most likely find Taurus in the kitchen this holiday season (duh), but expect to find him whipping up a new recipe he discovered, as well as eating everything he can get his hands on.
Taurus also enjoys the good company that the holidays bring, so when he’s not anticipating the Christmas cookies you’ll be bringing, he’ll be excited to catch up with you, too.
2. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancer is obsessed with all of the time he gets to spend with his family and friends during the holiday season. Sure, he gets to see everyone at different times throughout the year, but winter has so many holidays so close together that he prefers this time of the year over any other time. This is his time to reconnect with old friends and make new memories with family.
Cancer will probably start talking about the upcoming holidays well before Halloween but won’t really get excited until Halloween is over. Once he knows that there is less than a month until the holidays begin after October 31, he’ll be a chatty, excitable ball of energy until it’s time to start prepping the menu and buying the gifts.
3. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leo absolutely loves the holidays because of all the amazing parties there will be. This is the time of the year when he gets to dress up and really wow people.
He’ll be going to every party he can find, whether that’s an intimate family gathering, a night out with friends, or something fabulous going on in the city. If there’s a party, Leo will definitely be there.
Leo also loves the holidays for the gifts. Not only does he love receiving gifts (I mean, who doesn’t?), but he’s also really good at picking gifts out for family and friends.
No one is sure how he does it, but he knows exactly what you want and isn’t afraid to drop some cash to get it, either. When Leo sees all those presents under the tree, he turns into a giddy child again – expect him to wake you up early on Christmas morning.
4. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo doesn’t show his excitement for the holidays like the other zodiac signs. He also doesn’t get enough credit for all the hard work he does during the holiday season.
Rather than jumping up and down with excitement, Virgo is behind the scenes planning all the fun. Everything that goes on after Halloween ends is all thanks to Virgo.
He’s the one who will plan the menus for when the family comes over, makes sure the annual party with friends goes off without a hitch, and consults his master list of gifts when someone needs help shopping.
The tree is decorated, the cookies are baked, and the playlist is set up all thanks to Virgo. And once everything is in place, he can finally relax and enjoy himself.
5. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libra is obsessed with all of the glam of the holidays. You’ll most likely find him working with Virgo to make sure everything is in place for the best holiday season yet.
He loves to decorate, so expect to see everything from the floors to the ceiling covered in tinsel and garlands in his house. The holidays are also the perfect time for him to update his wardrobe so that he can dress to the 9s.
Being the social butterfly that he is, Libra will host a holiday party every year. He might go to a few parties too, but he’s best known for throwing his own shindig.
A Libra holiday party isn’t complete without champagne, Christmas cookies, holiday music, and its own hashtag for Instagram.
6. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorn is obsessed with the holidays because it’s full of family time and tradition. He loves the tradition of coming home for the holidays, spending time with family and friends, making memories, and taking pictures. In fact, he probably has a few family photos from holidays past hanging up on his fridge still.
Everyone has a different tradition when it comes to the holidays. What matters to Capricorn is that he sticks to this tradition, whether he’s celebrating at home or if he travels.
That might mean baking cookies, having a wrapping party, or going ice skating – as long as he’s following tradition with his loved ones, he’s happy.
7. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces loves the holidays so much that he plans for the next holiday season right after the new year. If you ask him what his favorite part of the holiday season is, he’ll probably say everything – and he wouldn’t be wrong.
Pisces is like Buddy the Elf IRL. He wants to go caroling, bake cookies, decorate the tree, and blast Christmas music until people are sick of it.
Even when it’s just him relaxing at home this winter, you can guarantee that he’s getting caught up on all of his favorite Christmas movies while he’s snuggled up in bed with some hot cocoa and cookies.
The holidays are a time for fun, family, and food – everything Pisces loves. He’s a zodiac sign that plays hard, so the holidays are really just a way for him to go all out and have some serious fun with family and friends.
