Are Sam Heughan And Amy Shiels Dating? New Details On Their Rumored Secret Relationship

And such is the case with this new couple alert. He’s Jamie Fraser on Outlander and she plays Candie on Twin Peaks, but are Sam Heughan and Amy Shiels dating for real?
The two have been friends for over 10 years, and rumors circulated that they had been together in 2014 and 2016. And when a fan tweeted saying that a relationship between Heughan and Shiels would result in the nickname “Samy,” Shiels liked the post!
Neither confirmed the rumors then but earlier this month, during speculation that Heughan would be the next James Bond, she made a tweet supporting him for the role.
Both of these tweets would imply that she’s clearly all about her man but the icing on the cake was when she showed up to the premiere of Heughan’s new film, The Spy Who Dumped Me, on July 25th.
Though there was no PDA, the alleged couple attended Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood together afterward and were seen hanging out with drinks in hand.
Neither Heughan nor Shiels have confirmed or denied their relationship, and even if they are just very close friends who support one another, there are plenty of fans who want to see him with someone else: his Outlander co-star Caitriona Balfe. This would seem like a match made in heaven, but Balfe is engaged! Plus, she shot down rumors back in August 2017 that the two were an item.
In the past, Heughan has been linked to actress MacKenzie Mauzy since 2016, and both have appeared on each other’s Instagram accounts.
Heughan and Mauzy were spotted at the 2017 Oscar after party, and had no problem showing off their new relationship. He even stood up for her when he asked people on social media to stop bullying her over her relationship with Heughan.
As of February 2018, the two were still together, though there are also rumors that they split sometime this year. It hasn’t been publicly reported, but if that’s the case, Heughan is now a single man. And what better way to celebrate than with a new romance with Amy Shiels?
