6 Offensive Zodiac Signs That Rub People The Wrong Way

getty Offensive people are often rude, disrespectful, obscene, insulting, obnoxious, vulgar, or controversial. Sometimes they’re only one of those things, and other times, they’re all of them. And for the
offensive zodiac signs, this is a way of life.
In astrology, some zodiac signs seem to have the personality traits that lend themselves well to being offensive. If they like to be contrary and get a rise out of people or need attention, they don't count on their horoscopes to help. Instead, they go out of their way to act like this.
When we get upset over something, it usually means that it struck us on some level and we took it personally. Getting offended is having a strong reaction, and there are times when this reaction is too big for the issue that caused it.
When people get offended easily, they're thought of as touchy, and those people who offend others regularly are thought of as provocative and insensitive. Offensive people don’t always know when they’re offending people and can be surprised to learn that they’re thought of this way. They may just think they’re just being themselves.
Sometimes it’s good for people to get offended because it shakes them up a little and makes them look at things from a different angle. At least, that's what these offensive zodiac signs have in mind.
1. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarians can sometimes be cold and unemotional, and because of those two qualities, they can say completely offensive, mean things, and not even realize it. They also love to stir things up and will be contrary just for fun.
Then there's the famous Aquarian sarcasm which many find extremely offensive. Most of the time, Aquarius individuals aren't intentionally trying to offend people, and when it happens they're usually confused about it.
2. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Here's the thing about Aries: they don't always think before they speak. This is especially true when they're having a temper tantrum. When an Aries individual is angry, the things that come out of their mouth can be unbelievably offensive. They say things they normally wouldn't dream of saying — hurtful, mean, disrespectful, and insulting.
It's just that when they're angry they have no filter and everything they've been holding back spills out. They will feel terrible once their bad mood passes and hopefully the object of their rage will forgive them.
3. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
If a Cancer is hurting, they want everybody around them to be in pain too. Sometimes they say the meanest things and you can believe that it was them who said them. Cancers will hold back their anger and then passive-aggressively let it out, so you may not even know what's happening. You question their meanings.
For example, on the surface, it seems as if your Cancer friend is reminiscing about your cat but what they're really doing is calling you a bad pet owner. It may take a few minutes, but then the realization will hit you that you were just insulted. By the time you feel offended, the moment will have passed.
4. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios have no problem calling people out on their perceived BS. If a Scorpio believes you lied to them, they'll confront you, or if Scorpio doesn't like what you've been doing, they'll question you on it even if it's not their business in the first place.
Scorpios can be so hellbent on finding out information that they'll cross the line and offend people. Then when someone tries to get answers from them, they'll run right into a wall. Scorpios want to know everything about other people without revealing anything about themselves.
5. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus are known as being an earthy sign, which means their humor can be somewhat tasteless and rude. They're the type of people who will be telling rude jokes at a dinner party — not really appropriate dinner conversation but Taurus doesn't care.
They think it's funny and that's what's important. Also, since Taurus are very stubborn and inflexible, they're not going to change their minds no matter what you say, and that kind of unwillingness to consider changing their opinion is offensive to some.
6. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
How could such a likable and fun sign be offensive? The fact is that Sagittarius are in the "Foot in Mouth" club like Aries and say things that are completely offensive. They will feel terrible about their bluntness afterward, but then they won't spend too much time feeling terrible about what they said.
If someone said something offensive to Sagittarius, they'd let it go and so should everybody else. Sagittarius can also be quite self-involved which can come off as being so into themselves that they forget other people weren't put on the planet to serve their needs.
