What happens when you’re not getting what you want in a relationship?

No one wakes up one day deciding to be a cheater. Everyone wants their relationship to be perfect; no one willingly hopes that the person they’re dating is going to end up cheating on them or breaking their heart.
But unfortunately, perfection isn’t easy to find in a relationship and it doesn't matter how compatible your zodiac signs are, if you're soulmates, or if you've never been a cheater before in the past your entire life. There’s a good chance that you’re going to have to work hard to find that one person that makes you feel happy and loved unconditionally.
Until then, it’s important to both be positive about the future of your relationship with your partner and to know that relationships need constant work for them to last.
Trust me, it’s so much better to be honest and open all the time rather than just sometimes, even if you're the type of horoscope sign who likes to keep thoughts and feelings to yourself. There’s a difference between being pleasantly surprised when you learn something new about your partner and that feeling of shock when you realize you don’t know who they really are after all. When you’re not getting what you need in a relationship — and when you’re not giving what you need to, too — it can put a serious strain on you and your partner.
So much so that you might start thinking about what it would be like if you were single again... or dating someone else. People don’t usually actively seek to cheat on their partner, but cheating does happen. We all have that one thing we always look for in a relationship, based on astrology, and when we’re not getting it, we want to find someone who will give us what we want.
Sometimes that can mean cheating when it should mean leaving the relationship to really figure out what else you want and work on yourself. Say you’re in a relationship that has a lot of romance and physical affection, but when you want to talk about your feelings and just vent, your partner doesn’t want to communicate with you.
They might try to shrug off prompts from you to just hang out and talk with each other or he might try to cheer you up with that romance, but that just isn’t what you’re looking for — your zodiac sign thrives on communication and emotional connections.
This lack of understanding and someone you can count on to listen might make you want to look for someone else outside of your relationship to have an affair with that you can really talk to; someone who will actually listen to you.
Even subconsciously, you could be putting yourself in a position to cheat.
But if you’re not getting everything you need in your current relationship, cheating can feel like giving yourself the chance to have a really good relationship with someone new.
I don’t condone cheating, though (no one should). If you’re really unhappy enough to consider cheating on your partner, don’t you think it’s better to end the relationship and then find someone new?

The thing most likely to drive you to cheat is if that eh feeling stays for longer than a day. It seems harsh, but you need that constant excitement that you feel should come with a relationship.
Your horoscope might have a fiery passion for the one you’re with, but you also have needs that need to be met. If your partner isn’t meeting those needs, you’re not above finding someone who will. For this reason, you’re one of the zodiac signs most likely to cheat on their partner.

TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus, you’re a crazy faithful zodiac sign who only wants true love in your relationship – actually, every relationship. You’re the kind of person who gets so smitten with your partner right away that every new relationship can end up feeling like The One. You definitely put your all into your relationship and you also expect your partner to do the same.
You desperately need a relationship where love and romance run deep. If the love you’re giving to your partner is not being received, or if you feel like you’re being neglected at all, you might be driven to cheat.
You don’t feel like you’re asking for too much, but you also hate being the kind of person who has to talk about the not-so-great things in your relationship. So, for you, it’s sometimes easier to go find that deep love you’re craving instead of bringing up the hard conversations you need to have with your partner.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini, for you to even be in a monogamous relationship, to begin with, can be a shock. You’re definitely not the kind of zodiac sign to lock it down quickly without looking over all of your options first, but just because you’re happy now doesn’t mean things still can’t change later on. You tend to have a pretty short attention span when it comes to love, which only spells trouble for you.
If you’re driven to cheat on your partner, it’s because that short attention span has finally caught up with your zodiac sign. You would much rather grab your squad and check out the cuties at your local bar than sit at home with your partner and watch Game of Thrones for the hundredth week in a row.

Virgo, relationships for you are almost methodical. You already know what kind of partner you’re looking for when you start dating and when you find that special person, you expect to be with them for a long time.
That said, your well-thought out for love includes having a partner who puts just as much effort into the relationship as you do. If that’s not happening, then neither are you and your boo. If you feel like you’re being driven to cheat, you’re the kind of person who feels like they can justify it. You want that hard-working partner who sees your relationship as an investment.
If your zodiac sign can feel at any time that it just ain’t happening anymore, you’ve probably already written off your boo, planned how to break up with them, and given some thought to who can make you happy. Whether you want to admit it or not, you have a backup plan in case this relationship goes wrong and cheating is just a way to find what you really want, not necessarily to break hearts.

Libra, you look for your best friend in a relationship. Someone who can bring that much-needed balance into your life and never make you second-guess their intentions. Sounds like a dream, right? Well, it’s safe to say you are looking for the fairytale romance to sweep you off your feet. You want to be loved for exactly who you are, warts and all.
Your zodiac sign thinks of cheating like your favorite fairytale — if the glass slipper doesn’t fit, you need to find someone it does. You know cheating sounds bad, but you can justify it as a means to an end. You know that it’s going to take some time to find The One, but you never stop looking.

Scorpio, when you’re in a relationship, you’re in it completely. You want your partner to know that you would do anything for them, no matter what that anything means. You bring passion and loyalty to a relationship like no other zodiac sign can.
As for cheating? You don’t even want to think about that. Cheating is the worst form of betrayal your partner can do to you, so why would you do the same to them? That said, you’re not opposed to bringing some of that roleplaying into the bedroom.
