According to astrology, there are horoscopes that fall on either side of the spectrum. Some zodiac signs don’t think twice about jumping at an opportunity.
If they really want something, they’re going to go out and get it, no matter how much of a challenge it might be.
These zodiac signs tends to have the most confidence in themselves. They know that they can do whatever they set their mind to, so the only difficult part is putting in some hard work and staying motivated.
But even a little bit of a challenge really isn’t much of a challenge to them — they just know how to keep their eye on the prize. For other zodiac signs, it’s common for there to be some hesitation.
It’s not always easy for them to put themselves out there and hope they come out on top when they motivation and confidence just isn’t there.
I’m not saying that’s true every single time these more hesitant zodiac signs want to take advantage of an opportunity in life, but I am saying that it can be more difficult for them. Think about your crush.
If you had an opportunity to ask them out, would you do it right away? Or would you try to plan a strategy first?
Or maybe you would be too shy to approach them. What about asking for a promotion at work or even just asking a hiring manager for an interview or a chance to network?
If you feel like you have to hype yourself up just to ask, or if you try to convince yourself that you just don’t care at all (even though you’re just nervous or shy), then it’s probably harder for you to go after what you want in life than it is for others.
But don’t think of it as a bad thing. A lot of people get shy and anxious in social settings. But even when your hands are shaking and you can barely keep your voice up, it’s important to go after the things you want in life. Because your crush isn’t going to be single forever and that job isn’t going to wait for you — neither is that promotion.
And honestly? Sometimes being nervous as hell to go get what you want is a good thing; it means you’re getting out of your horoscope's comfort zone and exploring what the world has to offer you.

But there’s still that nagging little voice in the back of her mind that makes it almost impossible for her to actually go out and get what she wants in life. Is it really possible for someone who’s determined to live her best life get caught up all thanks to herself? When it comes to Virgo, yes.
Virgo has a tendency to overthink EVERYTHING, whether she wants to or not. If she is thinking about asking her crush out, all she can think about is what will happen if they say no or she trips in front of them or they laugh at her.
And if she wants to go after that promotion, it’s not uncommon for her to stop herself from even trying just so that she doesn’t get turned down. This worry that even one little thing could go wrong is what holds Virgo back from finding her confidence.

AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius is the kind of person who works so hard to pretend like she doesn’t care when she actually probably cares more than most of the other zodiac signs. It’s not uncommon for Aquarius to hold people and things at arm’s length until she figures out what she wants out of life, but just because she’s acting aloof and distant doesn’t mean there’s a lot of inner turmoil going on in her head.
All Aquarius wants in life is to be accepted. Sure, she likes being unique and different, but she also doesn’t want to be made fun of the choices she makes. So instead of just letting her freak flag fly, she often pretends like she doesn’t really care about anything.
That’s a lot easier than running the risk of people butting into her life and asking her why she chose that specific job or what it is about that person that makes her want to date them. Aquarius is caught between wanting to care and needing a confidence boost.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
On the other end of the spectrum, Cancer cares almost TOO much. Whether she’s expressing her love for someone that she really cares about or she’s determined to get that raise at work, Cancer is the zodiac sign that wears her determination on her face. That said, Cancer is also known for having a lot of emotions fueling her to make decisions, which can be a good thing or a very bad thing.
When Cancer gets into that “caring way too much” mode, her mind can start producing way too many emotions for her (or anyone) to handle at one time. When she’s relaxed, Cancer can be very confident, but when she’s overthinking everything, insecurity and nerves can take over.
She hates giving up on things that matter to her, but she can’t help but ride that emotional rollercoaster when her nerves are just way too high for her to handle — it happens to the best of us!

PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces isn’t always shy, but she does tend to withdraw from a situation as soon as she gets uncomfortable rather than push through to the end. Pisces absolutely hates feeling uncomfortable in any situation and, because she’s one of the more intuitive zodiac signs, the moment she feels any bad vibes, she’s out of there, no matter how much she cares about getting what she wants.
When Pisces gets overwhelmed with whatever her gut is telling her is wrong, she can retreat into herself until she feels comfortable again – or until there’s another opportunity to prove that she can go out and get what she wants again.
Until then, this is when you will most likely see Pisces’ shy side; the side that would rather go back to dreaming about finding her confidence and succeeding instead of actually going out and doing just that.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
You could say that Gemini goes out and get what she wants in life… You could also say that she doesn’t even know what she wants in life at all. Gemini is definitely confident in herself, but in putting herself out there and achieving her goals? Maybe not so much. When something (or someone) catches Gemini’s eye, it’s like someone has lit a fire under her butt – she’ll go after that thing until she gets it.
But when she realizes that the chase is actually much more satisfying and fun than actually getting everything she wants, it’s not uncommon for her to look for something better. Gemini has a very short attention span for crushes, challenges at work, and new opportunities.
Unless that thing she wants is a huge challenge and actually requires her to put in a lot of effort, Gemini isn’t really going to go after it. If things seem too easy for her, she’s just not interested; she’d rather save her energy for something really exciting.

LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libra has a lot of opportunities and experiences that she wants to check off of her bucket list in life, but there are some hurdles she has to get over before she can really succeed and be happy.
Libra hates the thought of rocking the boat over anything, which can make it really hard for her to get that promotion at work or show her crush that she’s the one they should be with. What can she say? She’s a people pleaser at heart.
Libra might not admit it right away, but when she runs an idea or opportunity she’s interested in her friends and family, she’s really trying to determine if what she wants to do sounds silly or dumb.
She does want to be confident enough to make her own decisions, but it can definitely be hard for someone who is a natural-born people pleaser. She appreciates having other people’s validation and approval, even if it’s all up to her in the end anyway.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus will go out and get what she wants if she knows that it’s worth her while. If there is something she’s really determined to get – like that cute person’s number at the bar – she’ll do exactly that; but only if she knows the other person is interested. If whatever she’s seeking doesn’t seem to be interested in seeking her, she’s just going to cut her losses.
When Taurus isn’t feeling motivated, she can be really lazy. She doesn’t really like doing things that don’t have a purpose because, to her, it’s just a waste of energy. And when Taurus gets comfortable in this laziness and not wanting to go after what she wants, it can be very hard to pull her out of this mindset. Once she proves that she’s indifferent to something, it’s almost impossible for her to get motivated; at that point, she’s already moved on to the next thing.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius is all about looking for challenges and opportunities in life so that she can grow into the person she’s always wanted to be. The thing that makes Sagittarius so admirable (and can sometimes make people jealous of her) is that opportunity seems to come easily to her.
She knows that whenever she sets her mind to something, she can get whatever she wants out of life. Sure, that’s true for every zodiac sign, but for her, it’s almost unbelievable how easy it is for her to succeed.
The thing that helps the most for Sagittarius is that she is very confident in herself. She knows that if she just trusts that she will succeed in getting that dream job or pushing herself even more at the gym, then she’ll get what she wants.
