Buzz, Love

Live courageously and honestly. Love without limits.

You can learn a lot about friendship, family, and love from a good book or movie, and when you find one you love, you're sure to memorize all the best quotes.

Harry Potter, in my humble opinion, is one of the best children’s book series in the world.

The Harry Potter books are filled with lessons that are funny, inspiring, relatable and, excuse my pun, magical — and filled with amazing friendship quotes.

The accompanying film series doesn’t exactly compare to the books (seriously, read the books. They’re phenomenal.), but they’re still exciting, fun, and sum up the brilliance of the books as best as can be done in only two and a half hours each.

In all honesty, I would have been more upset if they didn’t allow the movies to “age” along with Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson anyway.

Like most people born in the 90’s, I still find myself getting excited about Harry Potter (even at nearly 25-years-old).

For us 90’s kids, Harry Potter reminds us of simpler times, of discovering a love for reading and of wishing we were a witch/wizard. Oh, if only our Hogwarts letters had shown up.

We read the books numerous times, we watched the movies with our friends, we played all the games that had anything to do with the franchise and we dressed up like witches and wizards (not always just on Halloween).

I even hand made my own wand in my father’s garage (proud Harry Potter dork, right here!).

From the very beginning of the series to the very end, Harry Potter taught us all about friendship, love and the importance of family.

Whether it’s your literal family or the family that you make on your own (like poor little orphan Harry did with the Weasleys).
