How You Act During A Breakup, According To Your Zodiac Sign

They can occur for an array of reasons. And the way you deal with it is vital.
Whether you’re the type to stay friends with them or the type to distance yourself completely, your personality determines the best way you deal with it.
Signs such as the Aries and Leo have a harder time dealing with a breakup, often throwing a fit right off the bat. Other signs such as the Cancer and Taurus seem to live in a denial trance, not easily expecting the truth, and check up on their exes religiously.
Then there are signs like the Virgo or even Capricorn who may seem like they don’t fully care, but somewhere deep down they really do and do not know how to handle it.
Breakups are already really rough and you shouldn’t have to face them alone. Which is why many signs avoid it for as long as they can. Whereas other signs would never sacrifice their happiness all for the sake of begin in a bad relationship.
And while love is for everyone, not every relationship is meant to be, some relationships that don’t end up working out the way you wanted, act as a lesson learned and can even help you strengthen your personality traits within your zodiac sign.
The common theme among ever sign is that regardless of how they deal with a breakup, they all will get through it. And some zodiac signs will get through it faster than others, but that shouldn’t matter because everyone copes differently.
Here is how each zodiac sign handles splitting up with their ex and manages to get their stuff back, if they do decide they want it back, according to astrology.
Aries (March 21- April 19)
If they didn’t break up with you, you knew that you were probably going to break up within eventually. With your temper being known to get the better of you many times, you’re basically a short fuse. However, this fuse dies just as quick as it came and you move on.
So in the case someone breaks up with you, you are only angry at the most a few days and then you do what you do best and get over it.
You busy yourself with things and ways that make you happy. And after you heal, it’s like you won’t even remember your ex.
In the initial heat of it all, you may feel tempted to request for EVERY single item you have ever given them back. That includes the pencil you let him borrow that one time at the beginning of your relationship.
Your friends think you are crazy for it, but you feel like they just don't get it. And the friends that do get it, will also make sure that you remember to get your old lashes back as well even though you have a million more. And you do all of this only to either burn most of it or throw it away.

Taurus (April 20- May 20)
Taurus are a lot like Cancers when it comes to the end of a relationship. They have trouble accepting and believing that it is really over. They will open their phone a thousand times ready to their ex, but then reality strikes and they remember that it is over.
They will still keep the pictures of when they were together and happy, as if the longer they look at them, the quicker they will makeup and get back together.
Once realization dawns on you that the relationship is over, you take yourself through every possible emotion it will take for you to move on. Then you do it.
And as for getting your stuff back, you may not do it initially but trust, you will get your stuff back. This can include initially texting your ex way more than necessary claiming that it is just because you want your stuff back but it is probably partially because you want to remind your ex how much they should be missing you.
After you get over that small obsessive phase of constantly checking up on your ex, you'll muster up enough courage seriously not give a care about their ex or what they're doing on social media and get all of your stuff back.

Gemini (May 21- June 20)
The day a Gemini ponders over a break up is the day hell freezes over. They will always do what is best for them because while they may have been in love, their love for themselves is greater than anything. They always have a backup if a relationship doesn’t work out.
It’s not like you planned for it to happen this way, but it did, and the only thing you can do now is move on and be your happiest self.
And how to get your stuff back? You most likely won’t need to nor want to. You have always been bad at commitment and that includes with your possessions. You've never been the type to get attached anyway.
You're friends think that that is your coping mechanism and that deep down you really do want your stuff back and you really are heart broken. But that is by far not the case; your ex probably needs it more than you do. And to be fair, you probably didn’t give him that much to begin with.

Cancer (June 21- July 22)
Known for their sensitivity, a Cancer will take a breakup to heart. The reason is because it already takes them so much of themselves to want to even share their life with someone. They are cautious and don’t like to leave their guard down too easily.
But when they finally do let their guard down, they have a tendency to get…attached.
Which makes sense to why your method of “coping” after a breakup it to do a little internet stalking. Breakups hurt, and it’s okay that it takes you a bit longer to get over it completely and face your reality on your own.
Your friends know better than anyone else that you need time, so they will ask you when they feel the time is right on how you want to get your things back. They may pitch ideas such as calling him, calling is mother, or anyone you mentioned were close to your ex.
You will most likely reject all options. Once you do feel well enough, and you do want your stuff back, you’ll more than likely tell a friend to retrieve it all for you.

Leo (July 23- August 22)
As a passionate and fiery soul, who LOVE to have the upper hand, breakups do not sit well with Leos if they weren’t the one who initiated it.
You have always viewed very highly of yourself and know first-hand how amazing you are and anyone who has ever had the pleasure to be a part of your life would know that. Which is why it makes no sense to you that anyone would want to end it.
They may throw a fit for a while, wanted their ex to come back to them, saying that they will give them another chance if it never happens again. But after the fit expires, a Leo ALWAYS remembers who they are and move on to better.
And getting their stuff back? Oh please, a Leo’s pride is bigger than that. You may however, constantly remind literally everyone of all the things you have ever given your ex and how it is also ten times better than any of the things they have ever given you.
Your ex will even reach out to you in hopes to give you your stuff back, but you find this as an insult because if anything, they need their stuff back more than you.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
As perfectly stated by English singer and songwriter Dua Lipa, in terms of a breakup, your actions and behavior after one will read: “IDGAF”.
It’s not that the relationship wasn’t important to you, it’s just that you know that you’ve survived before the person and you will most definitely survive after them.
Virgos are very tactical, and will place all their eggs in the same basket which includes their time, love, and money. This is why although they will try their hardest to make the relationship work, they will let go if need be; turning their energy onto things that make them feel happy, like their work.
And as for getting your stuff back, you don’t need it anymore because the worst thing you can do for yourself is clutter your space. A Libra’s form of breakup denial is different than any other zodiac. Instead of getting angry with the person, they would rather act like a breakup regardless of why it happened, means that them and their ex can still be really good friends. This does not always work out especially when their ex gets into a new relationship.
As a Libra, you don’t want any trouble, especially with your ex. Which is why you would rather act like everything is normal until it actually gets to be normal.
You want them to keep the stuff you gave him, because you’re definitely keeping the stuff they gave you.This is because you like the idea of being able to look back at the things they gave you because it reminds you of when you were happy with them.

How does a Sagittarius handle a breakup? They don’t.
You are known for what many call a “lack of sensitivity” and your relationship probably ended because of your wariness to be committed.
And this is not because you don’t enjoy being in a relationship, but rather because you enjoy romance a little too much, and sometimes want to explore more than one person.
Sagittarius are free spirits who want to get all they can out of their life, which is why their ex is just a distant memory as they move on to the next person.

Capricorns have a stronger loyalty than any other sign. They will do anything for the one they love. When it comes down to a breakup, your horoscope will want nothing to do with your ex. They crave safety and love, so when that is taken away, they draw back and feel betrayed.

And your idea of sucking up your pride to get your stuff back, is by sneaking into his house with your closest girl friend while he is out with friends. Once your plan succeeds you will be ecstatic. And you will probably also have a burning party for all the things he got you.
