I didn't always know I wanted to be a writer. I studied political science my whole time in college, but right before I graduated, I realized that if I wasn't doing something I really enjoyed (which was writing), then I was always going to feel like something was missing in my professional life.
Sure, I could always make writing a hobby or something I do in my own time, but that didn't really feel like the same thing.
I am, in fact, a huge believer in the adage "If you do what you love, then you'll never work a day in your life." And as a writer, I completely believe that.
But really, this saying is true for pretty much anyone, no matter what your career is.
If you love being a teacher or working in finance or being an engineer, then is doesn't feel like work; it feels like you're learning about one of your favorite things every day - whether that's numbers or teaching methods — and having fun doing it.
I know from experience that a bad job (or a boring one) isn’t just bad, it's downright awful. I used to work in retail and let me tell you, I am NOT a people person.
But I gotta get that cash, so I do what I have to do, you know? Since I wasn't someone who wanted to learn more about the retail world and how to move up in it, I wasn't totally invested in it.
Plus, customers can be very mean when they don't get their way. I'm not complaining, but there are some days when I wanted to quit instead of deal with cranky people.
My point is, retail was not a career I could see myself in. But writing, yes. Absolutely. It's my calling!
A lot of people, maybe even you, don't know what their calling is yet or what their future holds for them. But did you know your horoscope and birth order can tell you a lot about your future career?
That, combined with your zodiac sign, can tell you a lot about what your career will be. For example, an only child is more likely than someone with siblings to earn six figures and hold a higher-level position, like CEO, CFO, or Senior VP.

Firstborn children, like only children, are more likely to hold those higher-level positions like CFO and CEO, as well as earn six figures.
As for last-born children, they are most likely to hold middle management positions.
Middle children tend to excel at-entry-level positions. When it comes to the types of careers you are more likely to hold, your birth order and your zodiac sign can say a lot about that.
An only child is more likely to be in the healthcare or technical industries, while first-born children are drawn to government and science careers.
Middle children look for positions in public service and caretaking, and last born children are more creative and technological.
Then, your zodiac has a lot to say about your career choices, too. Of course, you might not totally agree with these careers, but there are reasons why these professions are more sign-centric than others.

It's obviously not hard to see why you would be the one to earn six figures. I mean, hello, you're totally driven, but it's more than that.
You're the kind of person who likes learning new things and using those smarts to get ahead in life. There's nothing like earning your place in the world and being able to get to the top on your own merit in your opinion.
So, you work hard and know that the more you network and learn, the better your chances are of making a ton of money (because who doesn't love money?).
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Professions: Government, legal professionals, healthcare, art/design/architecture, marketing/public relations
Taurus, you are most likely to be the most satisfied with your job. There's no running around trying to do anything and everything for your boss, hoping you somehow convince them that you're putting in your all.
Being satisfied means you generally (and genuinely) like what you do, no matter what kind of stress you deal with on a daily basis. At the end of the day, you're happy.
