Maybe it's time to start looking at the bright side.

As a self-described very bitter, grumpy person (at times, not always), I can confidently say that I find fault in a lot of things. Usually, I find fault in things that pertain to me and my life — like my personality flaws and nit-picking small things in my relationship — and not so much with others.
I feel like it is just plain rude to criticize everything someone else does, don’t you? Although try telling that to my family.
When I get into these moods where I want to complain about everything, it usually lasts a while. You know the feeling when you wake up on the wrong side of the bed and you can’t for the life of you shake off your negative attitude, right? That’s what typically makes me want to look for mistakes everywhere.
I want to argue with people, complain about how I knew this day was going to suck and tell you that you’re so wrong. I know this is just me having a bad attitude, but I know some of you out there can agree that you’ve felt this way yourself, too.
Of course, being an Aquarius — one of the stubborn zodiac signs in astrology — it only makes sense that I would want to stomp my feet and turn my nose up at anything that isn’t my idea or all about me.
I promise, I’m not THAT selfish and childish, but you get my point a little better now; it’s easy to find fault in things when you’re already prone to negativity and criticism. While I know I can be like this, I also know what a pain in the ass it can be to deal with stubborn, critical people — it’s impossible to please them or placate them, no matter how hard you try.
And if that isn’t bad enough, sometimes stubborn people are deliberately negative because they feel like if they’re going to be crabby then they might as well be as crabby as possible. In other words, these people LOVE to be miserable.
Some zodiac signs are more apt to finding fault in everything (myself included) because it’s just in the stars for them.
You can try to get on their good side, but chances are, they’re just going to pout until they get their way. This is especially true for three fault finding astrological signs in particular. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
It seems wrong that someone who can barely make up her mind about pretty much anything would feel the need to be so critical of things, and yet, we have Gemini. She can be very picky, it’s true, but she also feels like just because she can’t make the right decision all the time doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to, either.
Gemini finds fault with EVERYTHING because she likes things to be right and catered just for her… except she won’t tell you that. She would rather you figure out what she wants on your own and, when you inevitably can’t read her mind, she’ll list all of the reasons why you’re so wrong and why she should have just handled it herself. She’s incredibly contradictory, but she likes it that way.
VIRGO (Aug 23 - Sep 22)
Virgo is obviously one of the most critical signs there is, so it’s no surprise that she would also be able to find fault with pretty much everything in her life. She isn’t so much critical of other people, but how she fits into every situation. If she feels like she’s not living up to her own expectations, she feels like she’s one giant disappointment.
Virgo wants everything to be perfect in her life, but only if it’s perfect by her definition of the word. If she feels like she’s constantly doing damage control at work, at home, and around her friends (because people should already know she’s a perfectionist), she’s forced to find fault with everything and everyone around her. It might not make sense to you, but Virgo knows that it’s better to always be critical.
AQUARIUS (Jan 20 - Feb 18)
While it’s true that Aquarius can find fault with everything, it’s only things that pertain to her own life. She wants to be a better person and learn as much as she can about the world, but not feel like she’s acting like a total know-it-all. She wants to be great at everything, but she knows that it’s an unrealistic expectation to want to be perfect all the time. So, she criticizes herself for not being more definitive in her choices.
This inner conflict is really what drives her to be critical of everything, not actually what she’s being critical about. Aquarius doesn’t realize how hard she can be on herself until someone else notices it. She wants everything to come easily to her in life and, when it doesn’t, she beats herself up for it, even when she has no control. Her need to be accountable for everything around her only leads to disappointment (and more criticism).
