Zodiac, Self

You're not going to let one failure stop you.

Failure can be incredibly long-lasting and the pain can last well after the incident is over, especially when we revisit it repeatedly in our minds. No one enjoys failing — it’s disappointing, demoralizing, and a blow to our confidence and self-esteem.

If you try something that you’ve never done before and fail, it’s awful; if you do something you have experience with and you fail, it’s even worse. It’s horrible to fail in front of people; no one wants to have a witness to the things we screwed up and it’s equally as terrible to do fail privately and know that your inadequacy and miscalculation will cause a ripple effect and possibly cause more failures and mistakes.

Not everyone is able to pick themselves up, brush themselves off and go back prepared to fail again but hoping for a different outcome. It takes a great deal of strength to not let your failures completely derail you from your life.

When we fail, we are emotionally bruised, and while these bruises are invisible to the eye, they can continue in our subconscious and influence how we act in our lives.

We’ve all heard that we learn more from our failures than our successes but it’s hard to remember that when we are dealing with the aftermath of a terrible fail. How do we find the motivation in ourselves to carry on when we’ve been so badly hurt from failing? It can feel incredibly difficult to figure out how to rise like a phoenix from the ashes of our failures, but astrology can help.

Here’s how you recover from failure, based on your zodiac sign.

To be able to recover from a failure, you need to change your perspective about the incident. Instead of seeing your failure as all-encompassing and damaging, see it as a singular incident. Think of how the specifics of the situation will be different from the next time and be sure to include things that you might think would have no bearing on the matter but do, like your mood, how prepared you were, the circumstances, and even if you got enough sleep the night before. Once you see how things will not be the same, you'll have more confidence to try it again.
