Everyone has those times in their life when it seems next to impossible to make a decision on their own. Instead of trying to weigh the pros and cons, you find yourself either giving up on finding an answer or going to your favorite person for advice.
Having someone in your life who is always there to dole out some advice when you’re stumped is a godsend.
Sometimes, this person doesn’t even have experience with whatever you need help with, but for some reason, knows exactly what to say to make you feel better. Usually, the best advice givers are those who are very level headed and can easily get in touch with their emotions.
Why is this important? Because they know how to think like you and dig deep to the emotions you might be feeling at the time to help you make the best decision.
It sounds like witchcraft to those of us who have NO idea how to give advice (like me), but they are actually very helpful when you desperately need support.
