When Susan Boyle, the British overnight sensation, sang, "I Dreamed a Dream," the dream she had in mind was most likely not being paid to lose her virginity in a pornographic film. According to the Daily News, Los Angeles-based Kick Ass Films has offered the brilliant songstress $1 million to have sex for the first time on camera. Susan only has a week to accept the offer, and if she does, Kick Ass will fly her to L.A. on Virgin Airlines for the deflowering.
The 47-year-old Ms. Boyle publicly admitted to never having smooched a man before, much less having gone all the way with one. While her voice has been heard around the world, her physical makeup has also received much attention. She could delicately be described as unattractive, which begs the question of why anyone would want to watch her have sex. Mark Kulkis, president of Kick Ass Films, is counting on people's voyeuristic tendencies when it comes to celebrities, to garner attention for the porn flick.
"We want to get this movie shot and out while Susan has the world's attention," said Kulkis. "Besides, after 47 years of virginity, I'm sure Susan is also anxious to get something cracking as soon as possible."
While this may be the case, it would seem unlikely Susan would follow the money and star in this type of movie making experience. Although the character from Les Miserables who originated the song she performed so astonishingly, quickly fell into a life of prostitution on stage, the same should not hold true for Susan. The amount of fame she has received from her over 100 million Web hits translates into her not needing to get paid for sex if she doesn't want to.
Whether Kick Ass Films believes that no one will willingly have sex with her or is just making the offer to gain publicity, our gut says that there is at least one willing man out there who will swipe her V-card without agenda. If it means hearing Susan Boyle sing in person like she did on Britain's Got Talent, then many a man should be lining up at her door for a roll in the hay.
