About Susan Dykes

Susan's wisdom and knowledge of the mind-body-spirit demonstrates that she is an out-of-the box thinker.  Her belief is that everyone has the capacity to heal themselves, it just takes time, patience and acceptance of self to do this.

Susan has walked many paths in life, and with each one she has found deeper layers of herself as well as deeper layers to understanding how miraculous the body is.  Physical pain is often our first sign of discontent within our spirit.  Through each of her courses, Susan has developed her own understanding to show where physical pain meets emotional trauma and spiritual dis-ease.  With self-awareness we can draw many conclusions, thus realizing that choice resides in every decision.  Our actions, reactions and beliefs predicate our ability to look at the real from the illusion.  Still, each of us has a choice as to whether to become self-aware.

Susan currently writes blogs and Take 5 commentary for her Spiritural Teacher, Mrs. Deborah Graham.  The Take 5 campaign suggests ways to take 5 minutes a day for you and your self-awareness.  Susan recently became part of the teaching staff at a local community college to help future massage therapists comprehend that massage is so much more than "rubbing lotion" - we just have to learn to listen to the messages the body provides.

Some of her credentials include:
